Reckon that happens every week mate.
  2. Perhaps it is a generation thing Bop, perhaps it isn't. We had a very good support today. However, many folks of all generations and both sexes found themselves in the unsavoury position where they felt it necessary to move seat. The Fat Tony Mowbray, and there's only 1 Jim Leighton were funny. The very loud paedo abuse was not.

Got the train down and had a couple of pints on-route. Didn't get into the Bon Accord, so had to zip up my jacket, take my hat off and go into a Dandees bar with Trainbus and Phil. Thought we should have been ahead by half-time, defo pen not given. Lost our shape when subs came on 2nd half and the game fizzled out like a wet firework tbh. Great support up, but the abuse aimed at McGhee and Leitch was OTT imho.

I was at the game ......... why ?
  5. IMHO the chanting today was over the top. I don't believe McGhee or Leitch deserved the extensive abuse dished out. We had a very good support at Todders today, and would have much prefered if the fans had got behind the team as a whole rather than picking on M&L. Just my opinion mind.

Craigan for me by far, kept us in it towards the end when the rest of the team sort of gave up for some reason. O'Brien and Coke weren't far behind.
  7. It's in Kings Street. Will be a rather busy, if you'd prefer someone a tad quieter I'm very familiar with the city and don't mind where I go tbh
  8. Yes indeedy .... 90mins in the choo-choo and a few beers with the ASC in the Pittodrie Bar
  9. The Dandeez are shite ................. 3-1 for the Dossers
  10. Was obviously not as close to things as the local fans, and indeed may therefore be short of insider info, but I always liked Mark McGhee. Even as a player at Aberdeen, and the Filtheez I had an admiration and respect for the man and the way in which he conducted himself. I thought he did a sterling job at the Ark, especially in his 1st season amidst the tragic circumstances of Uncle Phil's death and onto our qualification for Europe. Last season, it is obvious he switched off in the last 6 months and I am uneasy about that. If he tried to offload a few young prospects to the Tims then I'm obviously very very very unhappy ............... so tomorrow the Big-Man will BOOOOOO McGhee
  11. Neil's right, the long road along the beach front is the best place to park ............. or in one of the many granite tenement dominated streets nearby.
  12. Jings I'm in the firing line tonight It was Chardonnay, I've got quite a long bath and no I'm defo not turning gay.
  13. Read it cover to cover for the 1st time ever ................ in the bath with a glass of wine. Great read too
  14. I used to really hate that ............ always some long hair'd hippy from the Tiny-X or YMT much furter up the steps enjoying a good bucket (when drink was allowed in), and they would let it spash all over those in front without any warning ..... and being much younger and smaller we had to endure it.
  15. sooner the better as far as I'm concerned ............. as long as I get to design our new home
  16. Depends on the away game, a cup-tie somewhere new is always that bit special especially if there's a terrace to stand on. East Stirlingshire or Stenhousemuir away in the cup this year would be nice. Ochilview has one of the best goal-end covered terraces left in the country IMHO. Fir Park aint been the same since they seated the Shed.
  17. And hopefully the Jamboh-uns will be too
  18. Great gesture, well done JG
  19. Sounds like my room in Dresden, although I bet you aint got Joe Wemyss for company
  20. Not sure what time my train will get in, but I may go a wee crawl before heading for the Pittodrie Bar in Kings Street, (big Dons pub, but friendly enough every time I've been in before).
  21. worried you get influenced by the dockside distractions btw Cadona's leisure centre is awesome fun + you must promise to come over and say hello
  22. Motherwell sold Ian St John and Pat Quinn to fund the building of the Main Stand. As a result it was virtually boycotted from its opening in the early 1960's. It is still the most sparsely populated stand at Fir Park on match day. Even says so in Simon Inglis book - Football Grounds of Great Britain, so it must be true
  23. Motherwell is the smallest town on that list and along with Hamilton and Paisley, closest to Weegieland. I think we don't do too badly actually.
  24. You happy with the directions for Asda Neil ?
  25. It's a derrogatory term for Shellick fans mate.
