Zombies at home, Tims at home ................ makes our game, along with Hibs-Hearts, ever more likely to be shifted for live tv coverage imho

Could even be a Monday or Tuesday night ????? I doubt the Highland derbby will be a huge tv pull, nor the Zombies at home. Edinburgh derby and the Beggarz at Aberbrothcock is more likely, as is our game for a live tv switch

Dont think any team performs well post decent result against the Beggarz. Here's hoping that stands true on Wed. Interesting to see that a mere 8pts separates top and 10th. Given the gap between 2nd and 3rd is normally more than that come November, we should be pleased to see the SPL is looking competitive at long last ....................... and so much for the Tims running away with it Traynor

A very hoarse nephew rang me from the bus on the way back. Seems he prefers away games to home games.....................reckon I was the same 30yrs ago. Was talking to a few Dandies and a Hibee yesterday, who are still cock-a-hoop with the Hunless SPL but do share our sentiments regarding the quality of football and the price of tickets, and that was before the £5 car park was mentioned. Seems the glass half-empty viewpoint is sadly more widespread..............and the game itself should be concerned.

Spot on Scott. Negative comment can often outshout positive comment, and folks are generally motivated more to post a negative coment than a poitive one - thats the nature of the beast. We need a pickmeup, and quickly.

Scottish football has been on the decline for what seems a very long time ............... at all levels. Why else do we have so many English Div.2 rejects plying their trade in the SPL.

In my time following Motherwell I've seen amazing highs and some really desperate lows. Success and mediocrity seems to ebb and flo our way. Recent seasons have given those in the stands significant reward, and now perhaps that period is twilighting away from us after the sensational peak that was the Champions League. In the last 8yrs, outside the Weeg Morons, Hearts are the only Club to have topped our levels of consistancy imho ....... and they'll be lucky to see out the season if what I'm hearing from the capital is accurate. Sadly I have to agree with much of the more negative comment above, particularly that regarding the squad. If its a given we'll lose Hutch and Randolph, I'd only keep Lasley, Hammell and Higgy, (because he's a finisher), from the remainder. Quite frankly there are guys taking to the field in claret and amber who are way way below Div-1 standard let alone SPL. I've said it before and i reiterate ....... I've seen better Motherwell sides relegated.

Halcyon days of recent seasons are over IMHO. Way too much dead wood in current team/squad to continue to "punch above our weight" and achieve anything other than a bottom 6 finish.
