    Supporters Trust?

The original idea of Supporters' Trusts was to create an organised and democratic way for fans to have influence over the way their club is run, either through ownership of shares or some sort of other representation (e.g. on the board). Unless the club is willing to acknowledge that influence then the Trust will be nothing more than a fund raising activity. That's a fine achievement in itself, but it's not a Supporters' Trust in the true sense.

    Supporters Trust?

I was never a member of the Trust, but I keep hearing stories about Rose. If he was so self-serving, why did the members not just vote him off?

    Supporters Trust?

Only if anybody has the inclination, time and ethusiasm to do so. Otherwise it will continue to be 'business as usual'.
  4. Does Fir Park Corner not do Twitter updates?
  5. Like Stewart's header over the bar?
  6. That's the the sort of well thought-out, and fact free response that makes you a perfect East Stand candidate.
  7. Worse than that - we are talking about a support that thought Bob Malcolm was a quality signing with good passing skills.
  8. Anything better than 12th will be just fine. No problem aiming higher, but after all the selling and rebuilding required, this is a consolidation year. Top 6 is possible, but I won't be too disappointed if we finish 7th or 8th this season. With 6 month loan deals and players possibly signing pre-contracts in December, it's difficult to tell even what team will be playing in January.
  9. Aye, we're letting Falkirk back in it and they just missed a complete sitter.
  10. Aye. Places like this will do you a monthly or annual rate for a UK (or US) proxy. Check out their free trial to see if it works for you. They all seem to be around the same price i.e. a tenner a month or a hundred per year.
  11. It sounds a lot more difficult than it is. Of course, an easier (but not free) option is to pay a monthly fee to a commercial UK proxy service.
  12. Or just pay me to fly to Chicago and I'll fix it
  13. You need to a proxy sorted out mate. It's worth the initial hassle setting it up.
  14. Hateley in? Hateley oot? Do the Giles Cokey and shake it all aboot.

He also works as a coach, rather than playing at being one on Football Manager.

I thought Butcher dropped him because he had signed a pre-contract agreement with us.

Vast majority? I think you just made that up. Sufficiently worked up to start a new thread about it.

Are you keeping a record of all his predicitions? Seriously, who cares? MJC predicts on here that we will lose every week and he's an alleged fan

I just showed this to an American and even he saw the irony.

    Motherwell Flag

If you accidentally sent it to a wrong address which happens to be overseas, you will have been charged extra for currency conversion.
  21. Well he took Ipswich from the Championship to 5th in the EPL. Better than guys like Davies managed with their lower league English clubs. He was doing pretty well with Hearts too.
  22. Telling wee boys to sit down is also part of their job, because there is no standing allowed inside the stadium.

    Loan Deals

Everton paid 250k for Ruddy over 4 years ago and he has played for them exactly once. I can't believe they would want 1 million for him now.

    Slane & O'brien

Straying off topic here, but the Bosman case went too far in my opinion. His club undoubtedly abused their power by refusing to release him even though he was out of contract. For me, however, the common sense solution would have been to use what was already in place i.e. an arbitration panel. So if you were out of a contract and two clubs couldn't agree on a fee then the player *must* be allowed to leave, and the fee is decided in arbitration. That way, the players still get to leave at the end of their contract and the clubs still generate revenue from transfer fees, albeit they would undoubtedly be less inflated (which might actually be a good thing).
