  1. I'm happy to report we get most of the good UK comedies over here sooner or later, and the ones that don't make it are always available via VPN. Even happier to report Mrs Brown's Boys is not one that is ever shown.
  2. You need to get some velcro letters for the kids' jerseys, because players rarely stick around at clubs these days - even the big clubs.
  3. SCRUM is just some fancy words for only building what you have time to build. If it's not working, it's usually because the people running it don't really understand it (like not including time for testing, or prioritizing the wrong things). Extreme Programming on the other hand is mince in its purest form.
  4. Does that make me more or less likely to find Mrs Brown's Boys funny?
  5. Even with investment we're not going to compete on wages with any big team that wants to step in and take a player or manager. That's OK, though. Our model is to offer players different opportunities. For some like Just, it's to get some quality playing time ahead of the World Cup. For other slike Watt, it's to get their career back on track after struggling for a season or two. And if you are a talented youngster like Miller, we can help get you a move to a top Italian league. I have no idea if Jens will be off or not, but either way I expect us to sell 2 or 3 of our high value players in the summer and continue down the same path for recruitment of fresh faces. And if we need a new manager, I expect the next one to be in the same mould as JBA.
  6. Haven't listened to Tam or Off the Ball for many years. He's the Mrs. Brown's Boy's of radio. There are people that find him funny - and fair play to them - but not for me.
  7. I'd expect to see an STV report with that quote rather than a Hail Hail tweet.
  8. The app still doesn't even recognise me as a member despite being a paid up member since the first year and signing up with the same email address I used when I joined.
  9. Probably because he never talks about it. My favourite though, is when he tries to take some credit for developing Mika Biereth. I'll give him credit for Bair, but Mika...?
  10. Beat Hearts and beat Celtic in our remaining home games, then having already seen off Rangers, nobody can accuse us of playing favourites.
  11. Get his old mate Slattery to kick him.
  12. Seems to be the case quite often, but he's still mostly used as a sub.
  13. MicInnes' half time talk must have been "c'mon lads, don't forget Rangers are mince"
  14. I think regardless of their result today, our game is a banker for a draw.
  15. Sounds more like he is taking the cheap option in the hope SK's level is sufficient in League One. Can you imagine if we had been relegated and the first announcement was "Kettlewell Pens Extended Deal"?
  16. The new handball rules were created to remove the interpretation of intent and any subjectivity from decision making. It was a reasonable idea as, of course, the only person who knows their intent is the player. It was a disaster of an implementation, however, and unlikely to ever be practical. So what we have now is a hybrid of soft unintentional penalties plus some situations where refs still need to assess intent.
  17. Need to wait until next season to figure this one out. Take your pick...
  18. And he gets an assist for their second.
  19. Miller back in the starting lineup for Udinese today EDIT: grizzly beat me to it. Luckily I'm in a good mood or I could just have delete his 😇
  20. Curtis Main scoring the goal that kept Morton up, helped put Airdrie into the playoff and helped County into relegation.
  21. Aaaaaand, back in automatic relegation. And James Scott and Dean Cornelius come on to (not) save the day.
  22. There's probably a combination of reasons, but there's no doubt in my mind that a segment of the voters chose McGlynn over JBA because they wanted to nominate a Scottish manager rather than some upstart foreigner trying to modernise the Scottish game. You don't need to go too far back in the season to find all the criticism doled out at the start of our project. McInnes will win it anyway, and JBA will be on the sportswriters' nominations no doubt.
