Our CEO said one of the reasons we don't use it is because of the poor state it's in. I imagine that matters less when the OF fans are ripping out seats before they leave. I don't think it's the only reason.

Is it not still in need of some serious repair and remediation?

As soon as SK signed Bair, he gave a press conference saying he was his "project" because he thought he saw potential in him and could coach him in to being a productive striker. People might not like Kettlewell, but it doesn't mean 100% of what he did was wrong. He was spot on with Bair and did make him productive and turned a nice profit for the club when he was moved on. I wouldn't want him back as a manager, but he did have some successes and we don't need to rewrite history to pretend he didn't. As others have said, recruitment is a collaboration at our level. From the data analysts to the manager and coaches, from the agents to the Chairman and CEO. Even the other players and club staff can help.

Unless they can go back in time and change the weather, it might be a challenge.

Glad he's recovered from his injury. I imagine he can get up to speed quicker with their system that he would have been able to do with ours.
-
Sounds like he thought JT was Irish.
-
Miller has already had more first team minutes than the vast majority of youngsters that the OF sign (and then loan out before the inevitable punting). It's rare to see a young Scottish player developing in either side. He did well to avoid them.
-
It might be heresy, but I'm still not convinced JT is that good. He's obviously having a fantastic season with us (as is the entire squad), but he still seems quite raw and drifts out of games for long periods of time. He could go on to much bigger and better things, or he could revert back to an 8 goals a season kind of player. It's a gamble for any team signing him, but I'm more than happy to keep him as long as he wants to stay.

JBA seemed to be of the same opinion. I don't remember his exact wording, but the gist was the club wasn't going to repeat the mistake of letting players go towards the end of the window with no chance to recruit cover. If the 6.5 million and loan back is true, I'd bite your hand off for that one.

He's progressing towards a regular starting slot now. I think that's 3 out the last 4 he's started and in the 4th he played the full second half against Inter.
-
No real panic. If we didn't bring any more in, our squad is in decent shape. One or two more would be ideal, but we're not scrambling like we have in other recent windows.

Hospitality is a mugs game these days. I don't want my Society contributions going to subsidize a failing business.
-
'Mon the Hearts - keep it at 2 - 2 now please.
-
Given recent history, I expect it's the Board rather than MON that's playing silly buggers.

I was thinking it has played better than it looks the last couple of games. (Maybe just need to spray some green paint on it)

They definitely have the look of the relegated. Some teams hover around the bottom, but still look like they have something to offer. Dundee are one, and as poor as St Mirren have been, you expect them to pull off a result when they need it. Kille and Livi looked doomed. Although I expect a very tough game at Livi next week, as it's never an easy place to play.
-
They were better for the first 20 mins or so, but I thought we picked it up after that. Better, of course, is relative, because they only had 1 shot on target over the 90 minutes.
-
I'm OK with a manager sticking up for his players, especially in Killie's position. He wasn't correct. They set up in a way most of us weren't expecting, but I thought we had regained control some time before the sending off. Even if the goal counted, I think we had enough to go on to win the game.
-
Probably just part of his recovery to full fitness. No point in overloading him so soon.

14 goals scored by the three winning teams today. Falkirk doing us a favour by being one of them.
-
Lots of good performances today, but I thought Fadinger was even better than usual, and delighted he got a goal. So he's getting my vote.
-
Lucky we're not one of those teams that gifts victories to teams on a 16 match winless streak.
-
Analyse that, ya pundit! Take your pick...

You can see why Killie get so many red cards. They're not shy at leaving one in on every tackle.
