  1. I long for a comfortable 2 or 3 goal cushion, forgotten what that felt like. I also hope for a high scoring event, however games against Killie at FP have been tight, with the odd heart breaking last minute winner thrown in.
  2. No, it in no way resembles the Somme-esque scenario a few years back. ICT and the Arabs both have had call offs and difficulties with pitch condition, it's just Scottiish winter weather. Our GM is a big advocate of summer fitba, and rightly so...
  3. BBC forecast is for rain to die down around 1200 then overcast, so providing we can get surface water removed, fingers crossed. We need this on to keep up last weeks momentum
  4. Night and day from last week as a few others have said. Total mindset change, great attitude, pressing, organisation (apart from a couple,of scares), and actually forgotten what enjoying a game felt like... The save from Long when1 on 1 was pivotal, one of those moments when you feel fate and the Gods are back on your side. So it proved, let's hope we can keep it going.

The collection weans actually made a positive contribution today unlike all our starting XI...weans for me,
  6. Anyone seeing his YouTube content will see he talks a good game, which is clearly why he was hired. If the walk doesn't match the talk, and it's jeopardising the future of the club, then someone at a senior level has a decision to make.
  7. Oh aye, and Straker has now displaced both Alan Sneddon and Danny Murphy at left back in Satans Motherwell XI
  8. In my 42 years as a fan, never have I witnessed a single performance with zero positives. Bara gives good YouTube but has had nada impact whatsover in terms of results. I can see hope running over the hill with its arse on fire....
  9. Does he still have the dodgy leather trench coat from the WelltrustFC era?
  10. First half, meh. Second, impressed with Straker, Erwin and general increased va va voom. As others have said, credit where it's due, Bara ain't afraid to kick ass at HT, and make changes where needed. Will it be enough when he's playing with a full deck? Mibbes aye...
  11. Vigurs - languid trequartista or lazy f**ktard...?
  12. Thanks mate, one glass of red and I turned into MJC... Jeez. Speaking of which, where is he? Has he been involved in an autoerotic asphyxiation incident after 5 consecutive defeats?
  13. The light at the end of the tunnel turns out to be an oncoming train...
  14. Yup, even an expired moggy will rebound a few inches when hitting the ground from a great height.
  15. St Mirren and Jags results were clearly a dead cat bounce.
  16. That, for me, is the key issue. Why has the arse so suddenly fallen out the team in one close season? Surely they didn't all take a pet at Faddy not being signed? Was there something else behind the scenes? If it was a gradual decline to mid table over a few months with a squad past its sell by date, fair dos, but catastrophic doesn't even begin to cover it.
  17. Interesting. Clearly Bara is big on pressing when possession lost, ball retention and building from the back. Becomes frustrating though when the opposition sit back owing to being down to 10, and we try and play through them. Patience was rewarded though with probably one of our few decent chances, ball in behind full back to Law, great ball into the channel of uncertainty and big Sutty showing his predatorial instincts to slot it away. Though Law was decent, Ojamma was dropping way to deep/central at times, and our balls out wide were of the Hollywood variety, as in straight to DVD not Oscar-winning. Good to see changes when needed. Take the three points though and look forward to how things pan out when Bara starts tweaking the squad.
  18. Looking forward to it today, be interesting to see lineup and formation, and whether he makes Gannon-esque drops from the squad. Confident, but I'd be more confident if MJC came on and predicted a defeat...
  19. Don't know whether to be encouraged by the first half, or flip side that we are devoid of fitness, luck and confidence, impacted by offfield events and support is generally ebbing away both in numbers and enthusiasm. Can't remember many times in my 40+years supporting the team it felt as flat and hopeless walking out of FP as it did yesterday.
  20. McCall, in the parlance of the Godfather, isn't a wartime consigliere.
  21. Was diagnosed with a double root canal infection this morning and thought the pain couldn't get any worse...
  22. Genuinely baffled and shocked how the arse can fall out of a team that's delivered our best sustained league form for decades. No matter how good a jobs Mcalls done, questions need to be asked, and people held accountable. Not pleasant but that's life/football.
  23. Its all about opinions at the end of the day, fora like this wouldn't be as much fun if it wasn't. I personally don't agree with yours but I respect your right to have it. I was being self-deprecating and ironic with the old statement, those of us in the throes of mid-life take their fun where they can. Chill.
  24. We're f**ked. I really, really wish you widny predict wins. We always lose when you do. You being positive causes ripples in the space-time continuum... Seriously, I'm feeling a score draw, wee OJ getting the equaliser after ICT take the lead. For all the Yogi-hating amongst the fans, was impressed with what he's trying to do with them - tidy, well-organised, play out from the back and Mackay is one of the opposition strikers that gives me the fear.
