I have never been more excited about a game in my 20years of support but I wont be there. It's on the telly, and every time one of our games is on the telly I take a pragmatic approach and see it as an opportunity to save money and enjoy a superior view of the game. That's just the way it is.
While the team would benefit from a vast support I fear many will be in my boat. Content with screaming from our armchairs holding a can of tennents and 'fissed as a part.'
Dreaming of another glorious occasion like the scenes, pre match, at the cis final in 05.
There is still time for me to change my mind though...
I hope your boat gets hit by a torpedo in that case!
Yes your view at home will be better and yes you can drink cans of tennents (although i hope you choke on it) but you wont get a proper taste of the atmosphere, get to be involved in and properly see the display that has been mentioned and if we win you wont be able to celebrate with fellow well fans.
Get a grip man, away up to FP and get yerself a ticket.

I live in Battlefield so get ma pals over about 11 and get a decent cargo on board then stoat round to hampden. We will see what happens after the game, hopefully celebrating with a bottle of tonic then out to anywhere that'll let us in.

Something like this?
Cheers for that translation. I actually really like that but it's a bit left field and obviously not everyone's cup of tea.

I agree that a blue and white striped kit should be an away strip for next season while keeping claret and amber as our home colours. Watching the england game last night I though of something along the lines of the current Ghana away top (also made by puma): -
Have the stripes in blue and white with the shoulder section claret with the wee pinstripes (in green above) in amber. It looks good in my head but i dont know how to translate my thoughts into a fantasy kit.

The proposed strip is not meant to be a show of preference or loyalty to any other club it is aimed as a tribute to Motherwell FC's history. Motherwell's original strip was blue and white stripes and I think a strip in those colours with some claret and amber edging, writing or whatever would be a worth while production and I for one would buy it because Motherwell are my team and I'm proud of that.

This is our ticket into Europe, I'm nervous about the 29th already....

The Ugly Fox gets my vote, his touch and link play were quality, unlucky not to score with his left foot strike.
-
Wins against St Mirren and ITC would have just about sealed a top 6 finish and put us in a great position to battle for 4th. TBH I think ITC will nick 6th place.
I also think Inverness Thaledonian Cistle will nick 6th place, Butcher will have them proper pumped up for their remaining games.
-
Im normally reasonibly optimistic but I cant see us getting any more than 4 points from our remaining games and pretty sure that wont be enough to make the top 6. Would be gutted to see Sutton and Jenno leave but to be honest I think Craigans playing days are limited but have great respect for his chracter and believe he has a big influence on the team.

Enjoyed reading that, talk about sour grapes eh!?

I voted for Sutton because of his work rate and 2 goals. Get him signed up ASAP.
When did Forbes grow a set of bollocks? I've never seen him firing into so many tackles, think McCall is the man to get his confidence back up, he seems to be playing near his best again.
Gunning and Hutch were amazing together in central defence, I know Craggs is our captain but does that mean he automatically gets his place back? I personally think the game could have been very different if he was playing.
-
Shocking quote. Absolute disgrace. He's been in the job less than 2 months. Give him a chance, oh and for the record who the feck would replace him. Nope he has my vote and should be given time. Thin squad with no money and Boyle out where are we going next.

As likeable as a boil on yer bell.

Ok, will I be the first to say it?
MJC get a grip ya fud!
This is Motherwell not a fucking Premiership team like Man city. Can I for one say that McCall has hardly had any oppotunity to put his own mark on the team, by all means make a judgement on SMc next season when he has had a proper close season to mould the team he wants.
-
Never a game I look forward to as we don't have a great record against them but hopefully the team can continue this wee run and get the 3 points. I expect a similar game and result to Saturday.
-
Name sounds vaguely familiar, which position does he play?
Pretty sure he plays midfield and/or right back. He played almost 150 games in Holland between Ajax, PSV and Twente. I'm sure he would be a great addition to the Motherwell team but fully expect he is well out of our price range.
Would you personally really want to move from Queensland to Motherwell?

Frannie Baws, Frannie Baws.
Much better

HE'S BIG
HE'S SCOUSE
HE LOOKS LIKE MICKEY MOUSE
IT'S FRANNY JEFFERS, FRANNY JEFFERS

I take it I am wrong in thinking that when MFC first formed in 1886, they played in blue and white stripes?
-
duke and blackman had fairly poor records at the clubs they were on loan at before us from memory
my dad was talking to an everton fan and he was saying that jeffers is a penalty box striker
Aye, but by all accounts his game could have changed since his Everton days, I think he is more of a dugout striker these days.
-
I'd like us to sign Shefki Kuqi mostly cause he's a big lump of a striker but also cause he has a brilliant celebration.
-
He would run riot up here, but his wages would be to much
Same as he done with Celtic?
