If positions don't change in the last 2 or 3 league games then Nordsjaelland would join us in the non-seeds and Panathanaikos would push Club Brugge down to join us, too.
-
As far as I remember - Way back at the start, before steelmenonline and welltrustfc.net, he was joining firparkcorner and Pearl Jam's 'Even Flow' was on the radio. He called himself evenflow. Then when he started up welltrustfc.net he shortened it to 'flow. ps I'm not a stalker. I just seem to remember that's how it went. pps well done 'Flow and get well soon

As far as I can see it was this season's competition they were banned for and, as match fixing charges have been dropped, are in contention for next season's. From Bloomberg's website:

Aye. We're pretty much guaranteed to be bottom seed in the non-champions route.

milo, we've known each other almost all our lives. And I know you've no doubt over my credentials as a 'Well fan. However, priorities change. Any spare cash I have is spent on my kids, giving them every opportunity in life (as we had), be it swimming lessons, BBs and GBs, dancing, football coaching, school trips, holidays, days out, etc, etc, etc - the list is endless. This leaves very little, if anything, for me. I simply cannot afford a regular day out to a game of football, especially now I'd be bringing my boy along, when I can get so much more value for money elsewhere, treating both the kids. For the record, I have only been to one game since Hampden, I will be attending Fir Park (with my son) for the Champions League and Europa League games - no matter the opponents - and will be making every attempt, within my means, to make it to the away legs. The cost of this will probably prohibit me from attending most other games next season. I am in no way offended by being called a part-timer as that is exactly what I am. I will be back, though, no matter what the entertainment factor, and no matter where we are in the league. In fact, no matter what league we are in. When it becomes affordable. And I can assure you, my son will be with me. -
The thing is, because we're guaranteed to be unseeded, it's only the bigger names that we'll come up against.
-
All this guessing is made much harder by the likes of Greece, Belgium and Turkey having mini play-off leagues for the Champions League spots so it could be 1 from any four in these countries. It's going to be around 2 weeks until these playoffs are completed. Russia, much like us, has a split where the top teams all play each other so it's harder to predict results.
-
Mis-read the Russian league last night so aye, we're hoping for Dinamo Moscow to leapfrog CSKA to avoid Russia.

Well spotted that man! As far as I can see, both PSV and Copenhagen can't be top seeds if they finish 2nd in their respective leagues. If it's Copenhagen they'll be the lowest ranked of the top seeds. If PSV then make it Copenhagen are pushed down in to non-seeds. One, or the other, or neither - not both.
-
Chances are PSV might make it. Feyenoord (2nd) are playing at Herenveen (4th) who have an outside chance of 2nd (win by 6 clear goals and hope PSV lose). PSV are playing the team at the bottom of the league, SC Excelsior Rotterdam.
-
As it stands they're in the non-seeds with us. PSV could make it - only a point behind Feyenoord with 1 to play. They would move up to the seeds (co-eff 76) if it goes their way. Also if Copenhagen have a disaster in their last game (lose and goal diff swing of they'll drop to 2nd and they might be seeded.

OK. At this precise moment, as far as I understand, these are the seeds and their co-efficient for the non-champions route: CSKA Moscow 80.566 Braga 63.069 Dynamo Kiev 62.026 Panathanaikos 50.920 Fenerbahce 41.615 And theses are the non-seeds: Brugges 35.480 Feyenoord 12.603 Rapid Bucharest 8.764 Nordsjaelland 8.005 Motherwell 6.728 There are still a few games to be played (5 in Romania, 1 or 2 in others) so this may, and probably will, change.

For the record - XBMC is available for most mainstream OS. There's plenty of info out there on the official xbmc.org and the not-so-official xbmchub.com iOS is a bit trickier to setup but laptop/desktop versions are a scoosh. Also for the record - XBMC is actually the mutts nutts. I have it on iPod, MacBook and AppleTV. On-demand and/or live streaming of nearly anything/everything you could wish for.
-
Alternatively, you could jailbreak the iPad and install XBMC, then SportsDevil and Navi-X plugins. note - not all versions of iPad and iOS are jailbreakable yet but it's a fairly simple process if your version is.

We got the extra place due to Swiss teams' poor performances rather than our good performances. I remember a big thing being made of it at the time as McGeady scored the winner for Spartak Moscow against Basle. http://news.bbc.co.u...rem/9407038.stm

Oooooh! Controversial!!! Especially in the current climate.

Cup Final weekend has landed. All that exists now is fans, buses, pubs and football. I've got 48 hours off from the world, man. I'm gonna blow steam out my head like a screaming kettle, I'm gonna talk '52 and '91 to strangers all day, I'm gonna lose the plot in the West Stand. The Steelmen inside me are freakin', man! Tonight I'm Scoojy O'Neill, I'm Stevie Kirk. I'm going to Hampden Park with my chosen family, man. We're gonna celebrate more than Neil Lennon ever could, anything could happen tomorrow, you know? This could be the best day of my life. I've got 1886 quid in my back burner* - I'm gonna wax the lot, man! The Scottish Cup is on me! Yeah! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yS09mKA2xw *Not true, but it goes with the theme

Can't decide between my Welltrust FC training top from a few years back or the first/only outing for Kaiser's 2005 CIS semi jersey (that I won in a raffle on this very site).

And here I thought you just took photies!!
-
Going to be looking it out again tomorrow to sit and look through with the wee man.

Nice one! I see a Canaries badge in the corner, too. Who's is that?

Or, being cynical, they know that people are willing to buy anything Motherwell at the moment. So when they run out of the popular stuff it's a good chance to get rid of the stuff that's been there for ages. Although, I doubt that's the case as Dave did say above that due to our colours it's not so easy to source items and have them here quickly. Then, of course, we get lots of new stuff to choose from the the new season.
-
Just had a phone call from The Sun/Carling with regards to the half-time challenge but it seems they've already sorted out a 'Well fan and were looking for a Celtic fan. As soon as I said I supported Motherwell the guy said 'You Motherwell, too. Thanks.' and hung up. Ooooh! So close.
