It was pointed out at the time Twardzik had previously been training with the club before signing with Dundee. The club had wanted to sign him at that point but there was no room in the budget and/or they already had enough goalies.

I see it's the players themselves that add their details to the PFA site, rather than the clubs. I suppose getting their names on there while the season is still going gives other clubs the chance to watch them in action, or even training.

I like the corner routines since Robinson arrived. We always look like a threat, sometimes from the second ball, and the opposition often don't have a clue what's happening. Me and the wee fella are always looking at the taker to see what the signal is to see if we can work out what's coming.

Perhaps contracts are being negotiated in terms of the possibility of wage cuts if we go down. An extra incentive to keep us up.

I noticed/pointed out last week that the delivery was ideal for Sutton but the space for the crosses were created by the movement and involvement of Erwin and/or McDonald. Unfortunate as it may be, one is sacrificed for the other. We maybe need the winger on the opposite wing to take more of a gamble getting in to the box a little earlier to take advantage of that ball in. Again, that may mean leaving us exposed for a quick break down that wing.

Some guy sitting behind us in the East Stand had a go at Straker about 3 minutes in - something along the lines of 'Haw Straker, gonnae get yer finger oot yer arse today'. Thought it was a bit out of order so early in the game but you should have seen the look Straker gave him. He was either raging, or didn't understand a word that was said!! While he wasn't outstanding he did all the basics right and barely put a foot wrong. Law passed the ball straight out the park more times today.

Delighted with that. Would be interesting to hear who 'the one that got away' was and if he was subsequently replaced by another, or whether it would have been yet another signing. 'Flow does also say lets see what happens in the next week or so. Sounds like an out of contract player that may still be available.

You can't just put it down to the physio. Someone will have to remind me but did we not have 2 or 3 others who done their cruciate the season Kaiser did his.I'm fairly sure that was the season we got dragged into the relegation zone right at the tail end?? Malpas or Butcher? It's all a blur to me. The point I'm making is that Porteous was the physio then.

Seriously, though, if there's a panel(s) loose it may not take a particularly big gust to break it loose. Gravity may even do its job without any wind. And while the risk may be minimal, there is still a risk. Anything to have a go at the club!

2-1 'Well Erwin & a late winner from Ojamaa

It is him. He didn't say whether he was going to buy it, or not, but he remembers it being in the comic. He's now living in Cobham, near Chelsea's training complex, and is a season ticket holder at Stamford Bridge. Still keeps an eye out for our results, though.
