Watched the highlights three and we were lucky to come away with the point, very soft penalty IMO and it certainly looks like we miss Marvin

I have noticed a lot of clubs are changing their fixtures planned for 24th Dec and with us playing Aberdeen then, I was wondering if there was any plans to move this fixture as I am sure that it would be in our interest as we usually get a couple of thousand of their fans for that game but cannot see them getting a couple of hundred on Xmas eve!!

Went along to the Oriam centre at Heriot Watt university which is very impressive to watch the game against Hibs, can't say it was classic performance from both sides, we switched off for the first 2 minutes of the second half and never really got going after that, but was quite impressed with our No 14 today, according to the team sheet it was James Scott, but at the same time he played from the beginning but was a substitute according to team sheet!! Another one that stuck out was Tom Fry well for the first half at least, on that performance can't see any player threatening to start in the first team.

I can't believe that and only creeps in age wise, where are all the critics of Joe now!!!

Hopefully we have came out of the transfer window in better shape, as Marvin was showing that he was more interested in moving away than playing for us as his form definitely dipped recently and no point in keeping someone that doesn't want to stay up here. Mind you does anyone know anything about Bowman? This is the way we are heading rather than finding players from our own lower leagues, we are looking at the English lower leagues, not sure if that is the way forward, as I am sure there will be some good Scottish players to be found in our lower leagues.

Having watched the highlights it was very encouraging the performance, unless they edited out a lot of Rangers chances, we did limit there goal scoring chances, but once again they have to perform like that every week if they want to get out of the lower half of the league

It has gone very quiet again about possibly Marvin's move, personally I would like the club to cash in with the player, provided it is the correct valuation, or does anyone think it would be better to hold on to him, until The January transfer window or beyond, what I would worry about is his form which might dip especially being in an average Motherwell side?

Personally I think Marvin has also been affected with all the transfer talk, even although he was one of our better players today, that is how bad the rest of them were.

Well I do hope it ends in a win, which I am semi confident, as despite being grubbed midweek, I honestly don't think we are that a bad side and will compete with all sides apart from OF and once Moult gets back, I think we will win more than we loose.

I think we all knew that we were on a hiding for nothing with the game being played at Parkhead, but we thought that we would also make some money out of it, but judging by the crowd there, I don't think we would make any money on the game, of course no official crowds issued by Celtic, I wonder what the official attendance was?

What I cannot understand is we got rid of Fletcher (IMO never got a chance) I presume due to being injury prone and his replacement Blyth appears not to be any better.

I bet you Alloa put up a better performance at Parkhead than we did tonight.

Let's hope the upsets continue Wednesday night, it certainly opens up the opportunity for an easier passage for some team!!

Now we have qualified as one of the 2nd best team, can someone explain how does the next round work, ok we are unseeded but is all the seeded teams at home for the next round?

I am a bit late in posting, but without doubt Marvin, but have to say Craig Samson didn't have that much to do but certainly was very good at what saves he had,me specially the shot that was deflected when we were 1 up

Has the under20's played any games at all as the under20's?.. We have lost some of them from last year, so there first competitive match is against Edinburgh City, does not fill you with confidence especially when they gave Hamilton a fright the other night

Sadly I agree with your view on Dom Thomas, I just don't see him making it with us, I would loved to be proved wrong, but I think he is too lightweight.

Does anyone know why we are using the Exclsior for this cup game, so early in the season? I can understand why they use it for the under 20's in the winter months, but at a time when the club are pleading poverty why they are spending additional money on renting the stadium in August!!

The problem with last night's game our expectations were too high expecting to win by 6,7 or 8 goals, mind you if a fit Moult had been playing that might have happened, especially the number of cross balls from Marvin.
