Have to say we played better than i thought after watching last Sunday's game against Hibs and as McGhee said once they get more game time they should be putting away more chances, so I am hopeful for the season ahead

Let's face the league cup needed a change and I think this format will be a refreshing change and please don't think that we are top seeds that we will qualify as I am sure some of the "smaller" sides will be dangerous especially at the start of the season. I take it that the gate money will be shared between the clubs or does the SPFL taking a share of the gate?

How about Neil Alexander just released by Hearts? I would think he would be a good addition, but suspect his wage demands might be beyond us!

Just to clear up the Lasley incident, was it two yellow cards he got or was a change of colour from yellow to red, in other words if it was red card the club could appeal (not that they would) but with two yellows they cannot appeal? Personally I think it just starting to show Keith is starting to loosing these extra few yards, I know he has been a superb servant to the club, but I am just not convinced he should get a playing contract for next year, but I am sure McGhee knows what he is doing.

I have to say, it would have to be one game at a time and if they can heat Hearts on Saturday with a full team and depending on other results then McGhee can decide then, but I would be sticking to a full strength side against Hearts, who basically have a meaningless game with an outside chance of claiming second.

Up to finding out that McGhee won the March manager of the month, I fancied us on Saturday, but MAYBE we can beat that curse for a change!!
