  1. I am not too sure if this is correct post, but the Well Society are saying that season tickets are up 15% but with discounts etc, the income is remaining the same, so do not get too excited about the extra cash to put in for players as that will not happen.
  2. It's obvious we have signed our quality players and now heading for the scraps for the rest of the squad!!
  3. Did we pay a transfer fee for Carson as indicated on Hartlepool FC website
  4. Before the recent signings it would be survival, but now I am thinking semi finalists of both cups and a top six finish
  5. We have an away match at Edinburgh City ( who are playing their home games at Ainslie park which is a lovely little venue and would imagine would be all ticket game, as I am not sure of the capacity but not too big anyway
  6. I was told from a very reliable source that Griffiths is with us for 12 months
  7. Yes Edinburgh City will play all their home games at Ainslie park while Meadowbank gets developed!!
  8. I think you will find Russell Griffiths will be one of our goalkeepers.
  9. I think the great rebuild has a good start with the first two signings, but the negative part will be the loss of Louis Moult which is inevitable as the board will be relying on this money to survive the rest of the season.
  10. Have to say happy enough with Fisher signing, as although he is a forward, but can be played anywhere according to reports So what is the story about McFadden then? So who is next assistant Manager? I take it will be either Lasley or McManus?
  11. I see Alex Fisher released by ICT, only saw him against us but was impressed and thought he would be a good shout?
  12. I see our ex goalkeeper and now with Dundee Utd Brett Long called up for Northern Ireland under 21's
  13. Excellent interview, let us hope it will get a few more people to buy a season ticket and/or buy into Well Society as it will be needed with potentially less clubs on the same budget as ourselves if Hamilton do go down.
  14. I see they have carried out "remedial" work on the pitch which looks like relaying the turf!! I am no expert and I am sure we have one of the best playing pitches in Scotland, but was it absolutely necessary to spend this money on the pitch, I am sure there probably a budget for this expenditure, but when you see the state of some of the stands I am sure they could do with some money spent on them.
  15. A MASSIVE thanks Scott, without doubt a truly talented player for us and I know you had some fantastic games for us but will be remembered only for helicopter Sunday
  16. I have to admit I am surprised they have let Tom Fry go as I have seen him a few times in the under 20's and was impressed most times, although I am not sure if he and MFC coaches knew his best position!!
  17. I take it with the pitch in perfect condition there will be NO remedial work required as has been the case for the last few seasons?
  18. Lionel changed the game completely for us and well worthy man of the match. Is he definitely leaving? I would say he has been pretty good under SR and would have thought he would be worth a Neil contract.
  19. After watching the highlights of Kellie v ICT, surely we must win, ICT goalkeeper gave them a goal of a start and how the Killie player (sorry cannot remember his name) only got a booking for a horrendous tackle only the referee can answer that one.
  20. I am sure McDonald with his booking today will now have to serve a suspension, not sure if it is v Kellie or ICT?
  21. Certainly not the best game to watch, but we won ugly which we needed and once we scored you could feel the relief from our players and certainly starting to pass the ball a bit better after the goal. Clancy certainly did not help both teams half the bookings were a joke and thought Devlin's booking merited a red card IMO
  22. Considering we did not play well at all, there are a number of candidates for MOM, I went for Heneghan, but thought Griffith's had an excellent game and even Hammell had a decent game considering he was recovering from an injury and thought Moult had a good game.
  23. Sadly I cannot see Hammell being risked on the artificial surface and unfortunately I see Jules might play at left back!! I know he probably made his biggest mistake that he will ever make in his footballing career, surely he is learning from these, what I remember he did make an excellent tackle on a Ross County player in the penalty box, so he may have the potential, but sadly not with MFC
  24. I take it he will be out next week with us playing on the artificial surface, so be very worried as I thought he was our best player today!!
