  3. Looks like Clyde........Big Shuggy in the background ........must be a cup tie as Edvalson played in the premier for us
  4. Heard a rumour that the new sponsor will not be putting their name on the strips as a tribute to the fan ownership
  5. Campbell thought Semplehad a good game Gallagher looks a good signing...........Hylton and Seedorf brought the game to life
  6. Cheers mate !!!!! As Ropy said effort looked goal bound, young Ross made sure
  7. If my memory serves me right, he was a couple of yards on side as Craigan knocked the ball across,at this point the Rangers defence moved out and was nowhere near Forbes when he put it in.........can remember the "media" defending the officials ( surprise suprise) as they must have" assumed" he was offside due to the lack of defenders around him.....tv showed he was clearly onside Found the game on you tube......unfortunately just showed the goals.....Hateley superb free kick,Reynolds goes to sleep on a cross and let's Boyd score inside 6 yard box the pitch was a fucking disgrace
  8. Gannon lost only 1 of his opening 13 league game (4 wins 8 draws )then lost 4 on the bounce and got his jotters paw Broon appointed,he lost his 1st in charge and we had a 12 match unbeaten run (8 wins 4 draws) then he lost 4 on the bounce Impressive starts
  9. Yeah was some strike,Forbes had purple the start of that season, also remember him having a perfectly good goal ruled for offside against the currant buns which woul have put us up 2-0......., ended up 1-1
  10. As far as I can remember the Albainians had a couple of decent chances in the opening minutes before we scored.......which would have made it interesting as they were 1up from the first leg
  11. As modelled by Devante yesterday Training/ polo tops £25
  12. Lovely away kit possibly the best in my time.........home kit no hoop......"traditional band" says the official site ,usual strange Macron collar........... seen worse Would have liked to have seen the MFC script badge retained on one of the kits
  13. Never worked out for us......can remember he was thought off as an excellent signing from Dumbarton
  14. 4 million from Premiership team with add ons...........and loaned straight back to us for next season ?????? that would be the ideal scenario
  15. Good point........I'm 1000 % agreement with the decision and can sympathise with POD/main stand season ticket holders But with our current capacity at 13677 and the south stand holding 4856 ........leaving 8821 seats ........when was the last time we had any where near that number at home ??????
  16. Totally agree with you there .....allways gave 100%......another good example for players coming to FP from down South playing for a season/couple of seasons raising there profile and moving on to a bigger club/ better contract Will be fondly remembered for scoring against his new employees in cup semi and rag dolling the Jambo super kid best wishes .....hope he doesn't come back to haunt us
  17. Motherwell sign Junior strike ace Motherwell manager Mark McGhee has signed striker Martin Grehan from Junior side Dundonald Bluebell. Grehan, who hit 32 goals in 33 games for Dundonald last season as they won promotion from the Central League, impressed McGhee during a trial spell. "It's great to sign for a club like Motherwell," Grehan, 23, told Motherwell's official website. "It's a big thing to come from Juniors straight to the top level of the senior game but I'm hoping to make an impact." "I've been here on trial for a few months and all the lads have been really good with me." It's great to sign for a club like Motherwell Motherwell striker Martin Grehan Motherwell legend Dougie Arnott also came through the Junior game before turning professional. "Hopefully I can have a similar impact," said Grehan. Meanwhile, Well defender Danny Murphy has agreed to extend his loan spell with First Division side Dunfermline until the end of January. Story from BBC SPORT:
  18. Was a baw hair away from being a legend
  19. Agree ........thought Scott got better in the second half and a number of times he found himself chasing the ball out wide especially on the right, which resulted in balls being played into the middle with no one their to challenge for it
  20. Should have made a better decision.........either pass to one of three options in side/as previously mentioned run it into the corner/ or put his laces through it ..........can't argue the fact he went for glory, but his effort was pathetic/ pass back !!!! puts St Johnstone back in the driving seat for 7 place
  21. And unfortunately the officials involved will bungle on without an explanation ......
  22. Just been sent this from current bun associate..... From Rangers News ,Rangers must pounce on move for Motherwell talent David Turnball Motherwell youngster David Turnbull is a name some Scottish football fans are only starting to get familiar with. But there’s no doubt that this young talent has the potential to be a household name in the coming years. Still only 19, the creative midfield talent plays like someone several years his senior. Comfortable on the ball, a leader on the park and with the ability to chip in with goals, he is someone Rangers must be seriously considering investing in. And the club must do it soon, before anyone else does. After all, the form of David Turnbull is bound to be turning heads down south. Turnbull, who earned comparisons to Germany legend Michael Ballack at the weekend, has been electric this season. His 12 goals in 27 games from midfield have everyone paying attention. Turnbull has also scored all manner of goals – inside the box, outside the box, free kicks, penalties.
