Run in to the split - Predictions

Tremendous victory today.......but still a long way to go....next couple of games are massive for us Accies v St Johnstone on Wednesday night uses up one of the games in hand they have against us....home win drags St J right in to the mix hopefully a draw/away win Ross County v Killie next Saturday really is a must win for both .....again a draw wouldn’t be the worst for us, Accies away to sheep hopefully home win, and St J are at home to Hibs again away win would probably best for us Again a home victory next week against Livy would be a massive victory in our quest for survival, without hoping on other results re post split fixtures.......we will have played 16 home and 17 away....think St Midden will pip Arabs for the top 6 as Arabs have Celtic/ Aberdeen Going by fixtures already played should be away to Arabs , Accies,St John and at home to Killie and Ross County........are we going to have more away games or have someone 3 times at home ? -

Embarrassing display out fought/thought by a team who have now taken 9 points from us this season......6 of them thoroughly deserved. For me Accies bring nothing to the SPL table, poor support/plastic pitch/shite day out etc etc............and we still have to go there again this season, and on today’s form the top 6 is LA LA land........from the bbc Hamilton have had the better of this fixture in recent times, winning three of the last four matches, and it could not have started any better for them during a nightmare opening 31 minutes for Motherwell. Ryan Fulton in the Hamilton goal rarely touched the ball never mind being forced into a save as his forwards made the three points a certainty with a clinical display.

Ditto...let’s get this lot and their plastic pitch relegated ...unfortunately we have gave them 40% of their victories this season FFS !!!

Stadium and training ground back on agenda
Pettywulliegrew-2 replied to GregyScotland's topic in Club Chat
The main reason Ravenscraig new town never happened was the owners of Hamilton and East Kilbride town centres ( possibly the same company) argued that the legislation NL council was using under “ new town” was illegal .....so they opposed it in the Scottish courts and lost....they then took it to London and lost ,knowing they were not going to win, as it would stall the development ...this took place over the early to mid naughties .....then the financial crash -

Kirky NL council currently progressing with new route which will link Ravenscraig new town with M74 then M8, includes a massive roundabout at top of Airbles ,with South Dalzeil church,Evans Hallshaw , Cook and Indis ( old Halfords)all disappearing ,which would give quicker access to from FP The project is being delivered in two parts Ravenscraig Access Infrastructure (North) Upgrading 3km of the A723 to provide a dual carriageway and shared footway/cycleway from the New Craig Road junction at Ravenscraig to the M8 at Holytown. Ravenscraig Access Infrastructure (South) Creating a new road link and pedestrian and cycle paths into Ravenscraig from Airbles Road, and continuing to the Regional Sports Facility. It will include a new road crossing of the West Coast Main Line railway, as well as junction and carriageway improvements on Airbles Road at Hamilton Road (A723) and Windmillhill Street. -

Haven’t heard the interview....... but in the relation to what bb has said above, at the time I thought it was a bizarre decision to bring on the young Dean at the time , when you take into consideration the terrible run we were on and bring on a player who had not kicked a ball all season , not as if there wasn’t another midfielder on the bench, ie McGuire who he had brought on the previous game against the sheep late in the game.....or his wonderful McGinley..........extremely poor pointing the finger at somebody else......it was his decision
-
Goals make all the difference to forwards...the one at Hibs was disallowed incorrectly.....the Arabs game I thought he just out muscled the defender, only 3 starts and we were unbeaten in two off them, then was off the park when we lost the late goal against Accies, he spent most of the time on the park as a late sub chasing games with another 10 players trying to get that elusive equaliser we never managed till last night. Did he get a fair crack in a very poor/ mediocre Well team ??? .......Immaterial now he’s gone Just heard he’s getting better money at RC

Lucky you

That’s what really annoys me .......these clowns are incompetent but are allowed loose on everybody except Glasgow finest, until the incompetent referee supervisors deem them to be “incompetent enough” to be “promoted” to the holy grail of the “Old Firm”...........we really are a joke league
-
Finally got round to watching the bbc highlights..........other than the blatant hand ball/arm in an unnatural position......the Polworth straight red card for swearing mysteries ...........the yards stolen by Kennedy for the free kick for the goal was about 20 yards from where ODonnell handled the ball and where the kick was taken, making it far easier for him to put the cross in..............which gets me back to our referee situation in Scotland again...Craig Napier been refereeing for over 7 years never had game involving the Ugly sisters......not a single one ....so how come he’s not good enough for them ( do they have different rules ???) yet he is good enough for the rest of Scottish football.........Monday .lockdown blues

We don’t play in England..........and if we did you wouldn’t be in the big boys league with a plastic pitch ......only saying COVID directions from local health boards are farcical.... my wife a nurse practitioner caught COVID which they tracked down to a patient who had been in contact with another nurse , both were constantly wearing full PPE .......did the place shut down/every one to self isolate .......no .......yet you lot breached protocols which you admitted to........football had been given exemptions which you clearly breached ......it’s about doing the right things ......we were ready for the game....so you deserved to b punished.......you will have probably picked up it’s people who breach the rules are spreading it

No surprises then ........

Was thinking more of the dates that would available by moving these games to the 30th January ..........the date they should have been played on..........ie the date these games should have been played on as per below.......now free......”making space” prior to the decision announcement
-
From BBC website ........Making space for our re arranged games ??????? Four Scottish Premiership matches and a full Championship card will fill the void left by the postponement of the Scottish Cup third round. Wednesday's called-off game between Livingston and Aberdeen, and the 3 March meeting of Celtic and St Mirren, will now be on 30 January. So, too, will Dundee Utd v Hibernian and Kilmarnock v St Johnstone, both of which were due to be on 10 February.

It’s as Well daft has mentioned it’s sporting integrity........would Hibs have gained a point against a full strength Celtic ? The self isolation will continue till the Livy games........who will then, as Hibs gain an advantage with playing an under strength Celtic
-
Games will be rearranged with a token fine to both teams..........Celtic will be fined an even smaller amount......will be amazed if there is any other punishment........it’s Scottish football hierarchy
