  4. Some crackin clips on there.......... My favourite: Aug 90 when The wee W@nK Grant hits his jaw off Psychos elbow...... Then Bobby Russell waltzing through the Smeltic defence, Packy Bonner bring down his own defender and Bobby walking the ball in to the empty net.... Then Bonner spilling "Douugggies" header in to the net !!!! The ball boys reaction in front of TGFITW....and Half the Shed in bedlam...happy days !!!! Bring back the Terraces and the Fence !!!!!

  7. Just listened to Pa Broons post match interview..........Just the usual pish.....thinks they will still make the top 6 !!! "We even have missed a penalty at home !!!!!!!" when he asked about them failing to score in 9 home matches this season
  8. Update of actual and possible points now avaiable before split. Ross County a massive 3 points against Smeltic after being 2 down
  9. Updated after St johnstone defeat..........max 50 points before split and all 3 games remaining against to 6 possibles/rivals
  10. The big problem for me why was Daley on the park....he has only featured in 2 games this year and been on the park for 13 minutes.........Higginbotham/Carswell/McHugh/Saunders or even Hollis would have been a better option
  11. Theses are the outstanding SPL fixtures We have Sheep away,Hivs home,Dundee away,St Midden home 46 points 58 possible ICT have Dundee away,RCFC home,Hivs away,StJ home 43 55 RCFC have Smeltic home,ICT away,Killie home,Tarts away 42 54 St Johnstone have Tarts away, Killie + Arabs home, ICT away 41 53 Hivs have Tarts home ,MFC away,ICT home,Smeltic away 39 51 Killie have StJ away,RCFC away,St Midden home,Dundee home 38 50 Arabs have St Midden away,Dundee home,StJ away,Sheep home 38 50 Sheep have MFC home,Smeltic away,Tarts home,Arabs away 37 49 I havent looked at all the permatations, but with most teams playing each other 2/3 if We win our next two/avoid defeat, that should secure our top six ?????
  12. Omar Daley............... Agree with eveyonye else who i met at the game/onthe way back to the pub/at the pub/on the train home Why did Mcall select Daley...................Feckin b eyond me
  13. Sorry Gaag you are totally missing the point............they are the righteous ones, the defenders of good over evil, the greatest fans in the world, beyond reproach..... who do no wrong etc etc....and smellies
  14. 3 crackin points last night.....which will hope fully drive us in to the top 6 and then 2-4 place and Europa again. Still along way to go though. In terms of beating Smeltic.....this is possibly the most valuable (In money wise sense re our final league place) 3 points we have taken off them for some time. Again totally unexpected bonus points after Saturday
  15. A great team performance......I thought Henrik put in an outstnding effort ........especially when he was closing down Cracking effort
  16. I was bored at lunchtime today and was on Statto.com It has form table and one of the searches you can do is check form against the top and bottom half of the table. As the table stands just now or results against the bottom half = wins 4 draws 5 loss 5 = 17 points which puts us 2nd bottom of the league Against the top half wins 7 draws 2 loss 4 = 23 points which puts us top of the league So as the table stands just nowwe seem to do better aginst the better teams........ie ICT Our overall form over the last 6 SPL games would put us 9th in the league taking 6 points out of 18....above St midden, tarts and Dundee Damned statistics
  17. Ah bet The Arabs get £125 , 000 for the both off them Ripped us a new areshole...enjoyed watching them..... thought it was cracking gam,e first half for us ....some lovely football... too much tippy tappy wank boy stuff......lost our way in the second half.....some superb saves from Randolph kept us in it....roll on saturday !!!
  18. Exactly....but what about the turn and run that got him into that position ???
  19. Have always thought the way foward for Scottish Football is a 16/18 premier /first division and regional North and South leagues. Have been loking through this thread, and seems to be a lot of people bickering over the tv deal money for and against it... IMHO without tv money many(most) Spl teams woud be looking at part time football.......
  20. Ross County are the form team in the Spl behind Smeltic taking 14 points out of 18 unbeaten in the last 6 games Also St Midden are putting a bit of a run on after the Smeltic semi final..... Hopefully the league cup final will distract them and the Jamboes Next two home games looking like 6 pointers then away to County
  21. Big fan of FNF.....but it should be a derby like games......not far to travel....went to St Midden just before Xmas ....nearly a 1,000 Dossers.........if the game was at Easter Road...lucky if we would take 100-200.......Feckin common sense...IMHO !!!
  22. Motherwell manager Stuart McCall says "a win's a win" Motherwell manager Stuart McCall was relieved to get to the final whistle after hanging on to win against St Johnstone. And he was keen to focus on the positives of their 10th Scottish Premier League win of the season. "A win's a win. This season we've played a lot better and got nothing, so we're happy with what we've done today," McCall told BBC Scotland. "It's been a cold winter's day but three points will warm us up." Michael Higdon's hat-trick had Motherwell thinking they were home and dry after 70 minutes. However, St Johnstone pulled two back through Nigel Hasselbaink and Liam Craig to set up a nervous final 10 minutes. "We made hard work of it," said McCall. "At 3-0 we should see it out but fair play to them [st Johnstone] who kept at it. "It's three points and three goals again at home which is good." It was a baptism of fire for Motherwell's substitute goalkeeper Lee Hollis, who replaced the injured Darren Randolph just before Saints scored twice. But, crucially, he denied Hasselbaink in the closing minutes of the game to prevent a draw. "He certainly had a vital save to get us all three points," said McCall. "He had no chance with the two great strikes by them. "With the underground heating having to be on, the pitch becomes really bumpy. "We tried to over-run it a lot of the time and gave it away, but we've got to take the positives and the positives are three points." Motherwell remain in third place in the SPL, but are now level on points with second-placed Inverness CT.
  23. Hatrick player would normally wiin my vote.........but gave it to Hollis came on cold picked the ball out the net a couple of times and made a great save to keep the 3 points !!!
  24. Nice win today....the only suprise is for me was that it took St John 77 minutes to score. I love this attacking formation with 4 forwards on the park, but sadly it leaves our midfield over run/thread bare . Thye worrying thng at 3-0 is that McCall cant see we need to shut up shop and see out the the game. Holding midfield player is still required to let Law do what he is good at ......attacking !!!!
  25. Cracking wee player...........again out of our league/price with the likes of Engerlandshire being mentioned !
