  1. According to a work mate whos older brother & father were at the game (SheliK)....... they say it was a couple of Brazillian trialists invited by Big Jock to play in a friendly pre season 1965 Nither made an official start to a league/cup game although one went on to play with Clydebank ! Well done UBH ...all our votes ave counted on the Admiral poll !!!!
  2. Herons dad played in the early 50's that picture is from around 1965ish.....so it cant be him. Have asked some of the "Greatest fans in the world" ,who cant id them either.....again they qoute Gil scott Heron's dad

  4. Like everything in the "Art world" a lot of things are not everyones cup of tea............and as usual, on this site peoples good intentions are ripped to shreads..... This gesture was done with the coperation of the family who were involved in the design.....which was all done with the best intent to remember POD What were some people expecting..........:wank: Ah well I'm sure the next time it happens the people involved will know what to do
  5. Good effort guys well done.....will be there !!!
  6. Jay The people who were man-handled/assaulted by "stewards" should be writing to G4S ,The Chief Constable Grampian Police,Alex Salmond,SPL complaing and send copy letters to MFC. Every other week we hear about problems about stewarding/policing at games when people mention stewards numbers etc etc.....but does anybody put pen to paper taking the individuals to task ???? Football supporters are treated as second hand citizens...........on saying that I nearly got kicked out of the Echo and the bunnymen concert recently for "dancing" in the isle
  7. The whole problem about this issue is its"stewards" who start the problem then "Old Bill" has to sort out the shit they stir when they cant cope !!! U pay peanuts............u get monkeys !!!
  8. We could the make up the twelve points on the h*n@s and put us top of the league instead of joint second......Must agree his header today was powder puff for such a big guy,but it was a good finish....do you have to hit/kick/header the ball hard to score?????
  9. The kick off time thats getting on my tits is next Sunday 6th November against the Mhakies 12noon......why ????, At that time on the Sabbath,Sunday school, church, chapel etc etc goers will all be affected all to suit tv..........and you cant go to the pub before.......SCHOCKING !!!!!!!
  10. Good signing if the reports are true, always good to have an internationalist on the books !
  11. Better than the 12.45 ko we had against Killie.....and the old 18.05 Sunday Sky kick offs But agree it with a previous poster this would have been a better idea against a more local club, St Midden or Killie, (which I would consider going away to on a Friday night). Again dont see the argument its too near Christmas, as are most games in December are !!!!! Possibly a reduced price/if you attend with a season ticket holder reduced price with a voucher from their book would be good idea. I work a variable rota which means I work 3 Saturdays in 6, so It suits me that Saturday as I'm due to work Ps I heard it was Big Higgy's idea
  12. Correct.......he has been bailed to January.........IF he is then charged....... a trial date will be set possibly a few months later........ possibilites the trial would not start/adjournments/legal arguements etc etc..... this could drag out for possibly well over a year or more.
  13. From google search...... What is 'Conspiracy to Defraud'? A conspiracy is an agreement between two or more persons to commit an unlawful act, or to commit a lawful act by unlawful means; the former applies to conspiracy to defraud. The offence does not depend on the conspirators committing the act; rather it depends upon them agreeing to carry it out. It is enough for the conspirators to know that their actions will result in the defrauding of the intended victim. What penalties are attached to 'Conspiracy to Defraud'? A conspiracy to defraud conviction has the potential to result in a custodial sentence not exceeding ten years, a fine, or both.
  14. Not match fixing..........;conspiracy to defraud From some of the bbc website article Concerns about the game, on 14 December 2010, were raised by the Association of British Bookmakers after a number of bets from the Liverpool area were placed on there being a sending off. In a statement, Merseyside Police said: "Detectives have today executed warrants at 10 addresses across Merseyside and Glasgow and arrested nine men as part of an investigation into suspicious betting activity. "The arrests are the culmination of a joint operation with the Gambling Commission and the nine who have been arrested for conspiracy to defraud are being interviewed by detectives. "Those arrested are a 29-year-old from Bootle, a 48-year-old from West Derby, a 54-year-old from Norris Green, a 26-year-old from Croxteth, a 22-year-old from Kirkdale, a 31-year-old from Litherland, a 68-year-old from Fazakerley, a 36-year-old from Kirkby and a 26-year-old from Glasgow.
  15. Different law down souf.......Police Aand Criminal Evidence Act 1986... Every one gets arrested on suspicion of what the crime was.....then they have 24hours to play with.......untill charge......but you can be bailed to re attend.at a later date..........if he is held for 4 hours to day....they still have another 20hrs to play with!
  16. HIGDON has scored 35 goals in the SPL from 130 appearances, We are sitting 3RD in the SPL and are unfortunate to be out off the league cup........... HIGDON is not and never will be my favourite MOTHERWELL player and is not the all round centre forward, but I will be giving him more than 8 competitive games and 3 goals befor I write him off. Roll on Saturday.... .....goodnight
  17. I feel the same about Jamie Murphy tonight............... come to think what about the chances Laws had ?????? The bottom line is Michael Higdon put in a decent shift tonight, won headers in all areas of the pitch, linked up play, layed on a goal, scored a goal, slotted his penalty not bad nights work for our centre forward..... But he seems to be the target for or boo boys....FFS lets give him a chance....some of the neagativity towards our players from some of our "fans" is shocking, Guysin front of me in the DC seemed disapointed when he scored his pen......Murphy hits his "hard luck Jamie".......Then its "Naw not Forbes"....who then scores one of the best pens of the shoot out.....then is "Hard luck Nicky". We all have our opinions/favourites......but lets get behind the players and the team FFS !!!
  18. How would you rate Jamie Murphy tonight................apparently he still plays with us......... " Lionel" Sutton cant get a game with hearts !!!!
  19. After tonights performance, time Murphy had a little spell on the bench....seemed to have a total lack of interest the whole 120mins and his penalty was a pass back I blame mccall he should have been off after 60 mins !!!!
