Didn’t even go through the “board has every confidence in the manager” phase.

After first leg I thought it couldn’t get worse and we would have enough to get by Sligo. Now after the second leg why would I think it will get better against St Mirren? We are in complete disarray, totally lost at sea. St Mirren will be up for it with a bunch of guys eager to get one over on their old club. I don’t think it’s going to be a good day.

But can it get any worse? Of course I said that after Sligo first leg.

Ok perhaps outclassed might be the wrong word but I can accept that description. Maybe a better phrase would have been “with alarming ease”

Not just on here. There were several occasions where the team earned a resounding chorus of boos from the traveling support. I’m not one for booing but I can’t say the performances don’t deserve it.

Agree, but I still stand by my comment. As has been mentioned in other posts that might reduce if we play players in the right positions.

Usually you can take some sort of positive from games but even that is gone now over these 2 games.

I think another manager could do a better job with the same players.

We may have had a fair few shots at goal but I would not agree with him that we created “a lot of good chances”. We should have enough to still get through to the next round but we need to up the performance make chances and most importantly convert those chances into goals. Stay focused, don’t panic and no stupid mistakes. COYW!

You know what, I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt and agree with his perception that it’s “fine margins” ……..BUT…….. the whole point is, adopt a different better approach/system so that games do not get decided based on fine margins. We need to be playing whereby if the “fine margin” things don’t go our way, we still win the game or at least don’t get beat.

I think what gets people just now is that both results and entertainment are not where we would like them to be, so basically everyone is pissed off. In addition to that, again IMHO, there seems to be no effort or plans to address any of the two issues, which makes people even more annoyed. The earlier problems are addressed then the more chance we have of avoiding relegation dog fight. Probably a vast range of opinions as to how long do you wait before deciding that a drastic change in approach is required. I really hope the manager is able to start producing results and more entertaining football starting tomorrow. I want to see him succeed. If results and performances continue as per the last while then let’s hope the board are able to make the right decisions at the right times. Either way, COYW!! just win on Thursday and get our arses into the next round. My son just texted me pic of Coral betting slip, 10 pounds on Motherwell to go through. His friend literally just arrived in Glasgow a couple of hours ago and he’s already had him go to the bookies for him. I think that’s good. While he can be a bit hot and cold I’ll put some of that down to the fact that on several occasions we have played him when not fully fit and only played cause we lack a decent back up for him.
