We have the chance to make this a terrific weekend. Hibs already beat. Aberdeen likely to get beat. Livingston playing Ross County. We have to be up for this game and play as well as we can to take all points. Would be a good week for our midfield to fire on all cylinders.

End of the day could see us 11 points clear of 5th place team (assuming Hibs don’t win) or cut back to only 5 point gap. Getting 11 points clear of 5th place at this point in the season would be huge

Yes, similar to the 3 games prior to rangers. 9 points up for grabs. Taking each game on its own we have a decent chance to pick up 3 points from each game. Of course we need to turn up and play but our aim should be 9 points. 6 or 7 points would be alright. 5 points would be ok but anything less than 5 points doesn’t suggest us challenging for third spot.

Not subject to the Scottish media rubbish here so not sure what is going on but how anyone can complain about his second yellow is beyond me. If anything his own fans and management should be all over his arse for being so stupid as that is a stick on yellow all day long. Likewise if the club get punished for the objects being thrown, we should be all over our fans there. There is no excuse whatsoever for people to be throwing anything at all at anyone or onto the pitch. It only puts the club in a bad light and is never going to have a positive outcome.

I think he must be told to hit the ball long and wide because I’m sure if Robinson didn’t want that he could tell Gillespie and it would stop. That’s probably not the aspect of our game I would prioritize working on. I’m more concerned about the outfield players giving the ball away time after time especially when not under any pressure.

Anything but. A lot of my posts agree with you in that I think our biggest issue is making basic passing mistakes and giving the ball away too easily as we transition into attack which leaves us open and vulnerable.

Aberdeen and Hibs are playing the same teams we are playing and we compare pretty well to their league position.

We do make things harder for ourselves with the number of basic passing errors giving the ball away under no or very little pressure. We should be able to drastically reduce those errors fairly easily. I did think today though that Rangers got their second goal during our best spell of the game and I’ve seen us play worse against 10 men. Again, sitting in a very good position with a lot of room for improvement

Yes, disappointing but looking at where we are we have got to be pleased. We should be able to fix our basic passing. Hopefully we can finish the year strong and pick up a few more points over the next 3 games to help consolidate our top 6 position and perhaps see us sitting in third spot at new year.

If we can gather a few points from our games in December, looking at the fixtures, I think we will find ourselves in an improved position by the end of the year.

We are 8 points above the team below us. A point behind Aberdeen. Not expected to take any points off of rangers. So nothing to loose tomorrow but a chance to get back into second and widen the gap below us. Hope we give it a right good go and see if we can get 3 points.

Very good point. We have been ahead in 4 of the 6 games we lost. Basically, we let the teams back into the game by slack/sloppy defending and basic mistakes.
