  1. Was hoping to see some news on here today after some of the seemingly confident predictions over the weekend. Still a few days left though.
  2. So in both our league wins, the man of the match has been our substitute. Not quite sure what to make of that but it feels really good 😄
  3. Between Casey and Paton for me but giving it to Casey since he was in the full 90.
  4. Very glad we got that second half performance. Impressed that we are able to turn it around so drastically. Casey gave it is all today. Was funny when he scored, the commentary was “what was Dan Casey doing up there anyway”?
  5. Yes! Much better second half. Thought we blew it by missing the pk. Great 3 points. Well done to SK with the change. Different team the second half.
  6. I think so. Ended up with 2 ‘Well players together and the Killie player all on his own.
  7. It harsh including Biereth in there after that tackle
  8. He might be right. Just watched them play Chelsea and not impressive at all
  9. Somewhat related but perhaps veering a bit off subject, wonder how his wages compare to Turnbull’s. Turnbull seemed the more likely to be successful but thinking perhaps Campbell is making a bit more than Turnbull? Regardless, I’d like to see them both playing on a regular basis although I keep hoping Turnbull will live down south as well.
  10. I’d like to see him get a chance to see if he is or not. Didn’t look out of place on their championship team
  11. Is Campbell injured or just not even making it to Luton bench now?
  12. Meaning, this explains why SPFL have them? 😄
  13. Was there a statement saying someone had left? I might have missed that
  14. Can any of his pals score goals and need a change of scenery?
  15. Exactly! I am asking this because I don’t know the answer but has there been a case where that has worked in our favour? Could be selective memory but seems that, if not in every case, the majority of times the recurring injury does indeed cause the player to be sidelined for long periods of time.
  16. Fair comment I think regarding Obika. We do seem to have repeated this same mistake several times over the past few years in signing players with known injury issues. Might be a good idea to update our scouting checklist to prioritize a players injury history/likelihood as one of the main deciding factors in whether or not to sign them. Anyone can pick up an injury but obviously some players have recurring issues with a specific injury and they are not a bargain if they come to us and just sit on the treatment table all the time
  17. Tough crowd! We have played 2 league games and Bair and Wilkinson have both scored already but that’s not a sign that their numbers may improve? i also don’t buy into the 6 month statement. Just because Arsene Wenger said it (and wee yin) doesn’t mean it’s true. Wonder what Cloughie would have had to say about that.
  18. So is this just a Motherwell problem or a problem, in general, for most Scottish sides? How does our recruitment performance compare to other teams in Scotland? If most teams have the same issue then perhaps it’s not the fault of our staff but if we are clearly worse than other teams then maybe it is our staff.
