To use your own line of questioning, what are you basing your confidence in us getting a new manager that will be any better? Either way, get a new manager or persevere with SK, it’s a gamble. I’d rather work with the manager we have.
AS mentioned by a few already, big issue in giving the ball away. Too many bad passes so no build up, resorting to kick and run which Dundee are lapping up. Not moving or transitioning as a team. SK needs to change the shape/tactics to offer more dangerous attacks but then again it’s hard to do anything tactically when you keep giving the ball away under no pressure.
I’m a bit surprised/puzzled by the fact that transfer windows are a thing or are allowed to be enforced. Football is as much a business as it is a sport nowadays. Most companies can hire and “fire” at will to best meet the needs of their business so why can’t football teams/businesses do that? Ohh BTW I hate transfer windows and all that pre contract shite.
Exactly. You know that if you have a good season the team will get decimated. It’s almost like starting anew every season which makes it even harder for managers.
I think it was a very slight tug and perhaps after the ball had passed them. Very soft i think and one wonders if VAR team would have called attention to it if it was for us.
I’m from the glass half full group. SK obviously set up to surrender possession and challenge Celtic to get past us. Didn’t quite work but he then changed players and got the equalizer.
we can’t play that way every week but horses for courses, his approach to OF games seems to fair pretty well for the most part. Can he keep us tight at the back AND score goals? Remains to be seen but hopefully this is a huge confidence booster for the team.
Between Spencer and Kelly for me. Thought Spencer handled their attacks down the right, very well. Kelly had a terrific save on the first half to stop and own goal. Of course the penalty save. Overall he looked much more confident and alert so, for me Kelly just shades it.
Correct! hopefully this result is the turning point and we need to cement that turnaround with a long awaited 3 points and a good December to see us into the new year.
