  1. Billy Campbell from Northern Ireland? I remember him playing for us but my memory of him as Assistant Manager is hazy.
  2. At the meet the manager event it felt like Max Rogers is JBA's successor when the latter moves on....as he will.
  3. Got a mate who's an AC Milan season ticket holder. He says Miller to Bologna is in most Italian sports pages.
  4. If he is as good as his dad was for us, I'd have no complaints.
  5. He didn't clearly admit that, but reacted to the others who had seen through the "victim" pose.
  6. It'll supplement his earning s from BBC and Sun punditry.
  7. My Thistle-supporting mates told me at the weekend that the talk amongst them was that Doolan was about to go and Kettlewell was lined up to replace him. Wonder if that's why his BBC buddies haven't handed him a gig.
  8. Graham Arnold has been good at convincing players to opt for his team, and seems to have decent ideas on motivating and encouraging young players.
  9. My youngest knows Imrie's nephew well and Imrie doesn't hate Motherwell; he played the part of pantomime villain effectively.
  10. In the absence of a person to speak with at St Mirren, I have contacted them via Twitter (X) and emailed them. Will be interesting to see if there's a response and an explanation.
  11. Unsurprisingly, no one available at St Mirren.
  12. I have just spoken with the ticket office at Fir park and the problem is that St Mirren are insisting on physical tickets for away fans. Disappointing that considering their 'Well backgrounds, Las and Robinson haven't intervened to stop this madness. Calling St Mirren's ticket office, now, to seek an explanation.
  13. I think too many of them work in "day jobs" where they don't have to explain or account for their decisions, so they can't ever admit to making mistakes.
  14. Yep! One of the most important stats that seemed to have been ignored by many was that he's represented Wales at U16, U17, U19, and U21 levels, and the performance of the Welsh national team over the last decade demonstrated that he'd have something to offer.
