  1. Think he might get a run out on Sunday though!!!!!
  2. Dee, had a message from paypal saying my donation is unclaimed. The message cites that this can be because the email address may be incorrect. Can you confirm whether there have been problems collecting payments, or as i suspect, is it just down to time / volume of payments that this hasn't been done. Dont want to cancel the payment in case you just havent got round to it, so if you can clarify that would be great. Cheers.
  3. Thats the 'berries mate! Lovin the choice of music, says it all.
  4. Another £10 in the pot. Good luck! Cant wait to see it on the day!
  5. Now thats what I call fitba' ! Just like watching Brazil! Great vid, great sound track, very clever timing on the boom, boom, boom! More please!
  6. That's exactly the kind of thing I was looking for..........and I do like the Ramones! C'mon folks, the benchmark has been set!
  7. After the 'Up the Well' post last week I had a look on Youtube to see if there were any more decent compilations that would be worth posting and it was pretty disappointing. Surely there are Well fans out there with the know how and the inclination to come up with some good rousing pre cup final vids to get us all in the mood? A good choice of soundtrack is a must but I'm sure it can be done. I would do something myself but i can barely work this forum!
  8. Thought we played pretty well first half. 60% possession and a couple decent chances. Ive seen the pen about ten times now from all angles and Im still undecided so dont think you can blame ref. The first goal and Lafferty maybes different and that can change games. Thought the team selection was curious though. If you want to rest players why not the older ones who need the rest more Craigan Lasley Jeffers? Overall its just excuses though, we didnt turn up 2nd half and got what we deserved. Hopefully a painful lesson learned.
  9. Been looking on the club shop website for 91 memorabilia and I dont see the Simply the Greatest DVD. Ive only got it on VHS. Anyone know where you can still buy them? Google is useless!
  10. I live in Ayrshire so if I'm lucky enough to get a ticket I'll be heading into town. Dont know what pubs are likely to be busy with Well fans but presume Shawlands/Battlefield Rd will be preferred given where we are seated.
  11. aaaaargh! had it working til the second goal went in and pressed the refresh button in excitement now i cant get any of the streams back up! anyone help?
  12. thanks for this. will get right on it! running out of time in between theme parks!
  13. Anyone know if my2p works on apple ipad or is it flash supported? Thanks.
  14. Currently on holiday in Orlando (bad planning, I know), does anyone know if there are likely to be any channels showing the game and where to go to watch it? Thanks.
  15. I wasnt surprised, we HAD to win.......just out of common courtesy you understand! Couple more decent results in next two games and we will be right back in the mix for europe. Considering the run we've been on thats quite incredible!
  16. That's because it was like a morgue when they scored! Didn't need it for us cause we all went ballistic!
  17. I give you the 1st March 1961. I give you 5th May 1997. it may not happen often but it does happen, so why not tomorrow?
  18. I know we've been very poor in recent weeks, but it's a cup semi final FfS! If we can't get up for this then we're not fit to be called fitb a fans! It's a one off, anything can happen, yeh we might get stuffed, but what if we don't and you weren't there?
  19. With the greatest respect, the thread wasn't really having a go at the clubs work in the community, more having a go at the poor ticket sales for the semi final and the fact that people in the community were not aware that the game was on and that the club could maybe have done more to promote sales. Two totally different things IMO.
  20. I dont want to be too harsh on the club, however I think the general point is a good one given the poor ticket sales. It is quite easy to find out ticket information if you are interested in the club and want to go to the game, but as we know there are only around 3000 genuinely interested in doing this. The club desperately needs money. I dont know if it would have been financially viable to put on free buses, but, if like the original poster suggested this was accompanied by a poster / leaflet campaign in Motherwell town centre you immediately make the offer more attractive to the fair weather supporter as they then dont have to worry about how to get there, where to park, if they can have a drink etc etc.... Sometimes you have to make life easy for people to get them motivated to do things as they will just not do things off their own bat. I know some people will say, why bother, if there not interested enough then f*** them, but I want the best players at Fir Park that the club can afford and if that means targeting the money in the pockets of folk who dont normally go to Fir park then I for one think we should be doing it.
  21. Surprised no one has brought this up but I have seen this 4/5 times now on BBC Alba and it still looks to me as if Hately headers it away from Saunders hand! Am I going blind? Certainly didn't look deliberate due to the collision so I felt justice was done.
  22. While I agree that Hutch looked good today and I have been impressed by his performances, particularly at the start of last season, it would be dangerous to start getting carried away. it was pretty dire for the most part today with neither team playing very much football, however we can take some comfort out of the clean sheet and the three points. Hopefully this will continue to build up the confidence of young players like Hutch as they are the key to our future.
  23. Was it also bullshit for Davy Cooper, one of the most one footed players I've ever seen, who was similarly unappreciated early in his Rangers career? Clearly when he moved to Motherwell and was playing with far superior players who were on his wavelength his game shot into the stratosphere! I take your point about it being a team game which is why I said it was a conundrum to fit players like Gow into a team like ours. He should have taken account of his team mates and tailored his game to suit and maybe thats where the selfish aspect of it comes in, however, you cant say that good players wont improve playing with other good players? Hopefully we can get someone in who has some imagination AND can play for the team, however sadly I dont think we can afford the wages of a player who has both, hence why we ended up with gow in the first place.
  24. Seem to recall a lot of doom n gloom merchants on here crying out for a creative midfielder earlier in the year saying we were going nowhere without one. I'm not saying Gow was the answer or the most productive, as he clearly wasn't, but if you paid close attention to him as an individual player you would have noticed that some of his touches on the ball and the things he was trying to do were in a different class from anyone else in our team, but maybe that was the problem. We dont have the players who can read that type of ball and hence most of his work came to nothing. The St Mirren game in Paisley was a case in point. I guess it's a bit of a conundrum how to fit a player like that into your team whilst not weakening the overall product, but I'd rather pay to see players like Gow who are capable of doing something exciting, albeit they are mostly infuriating, than a bunch of workhorse plodders not capable of entertaining at all. I'd put Humphrey in the same category albeit he HAS had some spectacular games, but recently he has done next to nothing. I would never have him out of the team though, because he is one of the few players we have who CAN make a difference. Anyway, it matters not. Gow will leave and we will have to find someone else to fill the void, hopefully they will be a little more appreciated.
