I totally agree with that,we should have been more adventurous with our subs yesterday,with miller and nicholson being the obvious ones.i think there will be a few games like yesterday still to come this season,tight games at home and we will need to start rolling the dice and going for it,it's the only way we will get out of trouble.i can't fault kettlewell for the starting line up yesterday,we got a decent point the week before so he kept it as it was as most managers would.on some of the new signings,I genuinely think we won't see a great deal of elliot or devine,I can't see o'donnell dropping out,especially when we're still struggling at the bottom for untried and inexperienced players and when blaney and casey are fit enough to play any chance of o'donnell moving into the back 3 is slim.

This could easily go the same way as raith rovers last season,anything other than the right attitude and we will be in trouble.

No I would rather we didn't sign a load of poor forwards in the summer,let half of them go and then have an even worse month trying to rectify it,it looks like we have went all out for van veen,been outbid with no back up plan in place when it failed.

To have ended january with the striking options we have is shocking,I never thought for a second when kettlewell said that he would be hanging his hat on bair when he signed would come true but here we are.

We've got numbers in central defence its just that they have all been dross this season,the level of goals we concede is embarrassing.kettlewell came in last season and made us hard to beat,it's obvious he isn't able to do that this time around,we badly needed a new centre half to try and help get us going again and up the performance of the ones that have let us down all season.

Taking the great need for a striker out the equation,to have signed yet another full back is just bizarre, defensively we need a centre half,I highly doubt that will be happening now.

The story of spittal to st mirren on pca is looking more likely if there outbidding us for van veen.

For all our problems in attack right now it's our defence that's our biggest headache.we need to cut out the cheap goals and quick as that's been our undoing all season.i would say this game will likely end in a draw but it could easily get away from us if we defend like we have been.
