I totally agree with that,johnstone was highly rated by folk behind the scenes for a while,none more so than hammell,to not have tried to tie him up on a new deal before now has bit us on the arse,if we're happy to bring a Japanese player over from australia on a 3 year deal then we should be making every effort to get our young players tied up especially when the club is talking them up as having potential.kettlewell seems to be pissed off that johnstone is off and all we will get is compensation,were not always going to get our young players to stay but hopefully we have learned a lesson here.

Agreed,a central defender is a must,the lad from palace seems to be highly rated so fingers crossed we can pull that one off.i think we will see a bit of lamie and mugabi in the cup games but hopefully not much more than that if we can strengthen that area,moving one of them on would be an ideal scenario.blaney being a starter in the cup games has to be a must if he's in kettlewells plans going forward.

The writing was on the wall for danzaki after kettlewell saying recently how poor his fitness levels were,it's best all round he's gone,hopefully we haven't taking too much of a hit financially.

Exactly,there's no way we can be going back to relying on mugabi or even lamie for that matter,those days should be over.our upturn in form last season was partly due to getting decent defenders into the team and that's what we should be looking for again and not going with proven bombscares.

According to scott burns,casey is waiting to see if interest from england comes to anything and goss has interest from india.i would like both to stay especially casey but we can't wait around much longer for them to decide.

Agreed about miller,hopefully he shows up well during pre season and puts himself right into contention when the league cup starts as there's every chance he could be heavily involved in they games with cornelious gone and real doubts about goss coming back,I just hope that barry maguire doesn't get any game time before miller as that would be a right sickener.

Fletcher is done and would probably still command a decent wage,I really hope it's nothing more than a rumour and we stay well clear of him.
