  1. I'm totally with you there having seen it from that angle,it's a shocking challenge, there was no attempt at pulling out of it,you can see the way that goss sock moves that he's done him by raking the studs down him.
  2. Good 3 points in the grand scheme of things but hammell should be going through them for that second half performance.
  3. Were showing exactly how not to play against 10 men,we need to waken up and quick.
  4. He should have been sent off for his haircut alone, come on boys let's not fuck this up from here.
  5. That utd keeper is absolute garbage,we should be testing him at every opportunity
  6. I would have went with cornelius instead of spittal but other than that it's probably the best we can pick from right now.
  7. Definitely, mcginn could have done a lot better,he was beaten far to easily.the second goal just sums us up at the minute,we gave cheap possession away, then mcginn gets skinned and there's a free header 6 yards out with our centre half's nowhere to be seen,it was preventable on so many levels.
  8. Good point,we are definitely leaderless at the back, both goals we conceded yesterday could maybe have been prevented with a bit of communication between our centre half's,why we were defending so high up at the first goal when we have no pace at the back is a mystery and the second goal for the aberdeen player to be in between the centre half's 6 yards out in a joke and that's not the first time we have lost a goal like that this season.there doesn't seem to be any reaction when we lose goals, they just stand around looking at each other which is frustrating.we have serious issues defending as a team that's needs addressed and quick,we have been well in all these games that we have lost by the odd goal but we can't keep giving the opposition an average of two a game,if we can remotely tighten up at the back we can easily turn these tight games into more points.
  9. We aren't any better or worse than most teams in the league,we just happen to be the team that's hid the skids over the last few games,to be honest I would have probably settled for where we are right now coming into the season with a rookie managerial team in place.theres definitely concerns though, were starting to see the same problems rearing there head again, the team's looks disjointed and yet again we still don't really know what our best 11 is.we can't keep defending like school boys it's killing is,both goals today we're completely different but yet as equally as embarrassing as the other to concede.if we were even remotely competent at the back we could have walked away with a point at rugby park and st Johnstone at home, those points could have been valuable and at the same time not allowing those teams to walk away with the 3 points who are going to be in and around us come the end of the season.im all for changing the shape and trying to make us harder to break down and atleast give us a platform to work with,we have been on the wrong end of losing by the odd goal to many times this season already,we ain't going to score loads so one might be enough if we can somehow cut out the daft goals and lapses in concentration at the back,to be honest I'm not sure we can as we seem to have been saying that for as long as I can remember.i love hammell as much as the next fan and want him too succeed but he needs to.learn from the mistakes being made and quick,I really hope we don't go to tannadice and adopt the same approach, this game shouldn't hold any fears but we can't go there and give them a helping hand,if we can go there and shitfest the game and come away with a point,I will settle for that.
  10. I said at the time when we signed mcginn that it would only make sense if odonnell was leaving.dont get me wrong I think mcginn has been a decent enough signing but as players they couldn't be any similar in terms of ability and were most likely paying them both good money to have one of them sitting on the bench.i would personally change to 3 at the back and move mcginn inside and have odonnell at right wing back,we need to find a way of making ourselves harder to beat,we are shooting ourselves in the foot on a weekly basis with the standard of goals were giving away.
  11. I feel similar about van veen,I think he's a decent asset when he's in the mood but lately he's miles off it,his confidence looks completely gone,I wouldn't even be surprised he's playing with an injury at the minute.we really find ourselves in a tough situation where our main guy for a goal isn't at the races but we still need to play him cause we have nobody else.
  12. Agree about the formation,I was never a fan of it under alexander and less so now,we don't have the players or the pace in the team to make it work.a change is definitely required, were as predictable as ever and even at this early stage in the season the opposition have us sussed already.
  13. The issue is at both ends of the park but were giving away an average of two goals a game at the minute and that just simply can't continue, even if we were half decent in attack giving away two goals a game can't happen.the goals yet again are embarrassing, the first why are we playing that high of a line when we have no pace at the back and then the second mcginn is beating far to easy and then it's a free header six yards out.it looks like we're going to be going into yet another transfer window with the same problems that have been staring us in the face for agesthat were going to try and have to fix.
  14. Beat at home again with barely a whimper against an average team, the alarm bells are starting to ring for me.
  15. Tip tappy backwards football and then a punt up the park when were chasing the game, clueless.
  16. How many times are we going to boot the ball out of play from the restart.
  17. Free header 6 yards out between the 2 centre half's is a disgrace
  18. Really good touch and finish there, well done mckinstry
  19. The only thing we're good at is giving away daft fouls
  20. The two of them play like wee boys, constantly shoved out of possession and when they do get the ball they take it back into crowded areas, not good enough from either in that first half.
  21. I hope hammell has it in him to boot some arses and come up with something at half time cause if the second half goes the same way as the first and we lose this game then I'll be more than a little concerned, aberdeen have been brutal but yet we have offered next to nothing.
  22. There's fuck all anticipation in our team, every one of them are constantly just standing ball watching.
  23. There's no pace in our backline but yet were defending that high up,shocking goal to give away yet again.
  24. Were toiling a bit at the minute but there's absolutely no reason why we can't win this game.
