I would take 7th right now as I think we could easily finish as low as 10.up until the last 2 home league games I would have been a bit gutted at missing out on the top 6,just because we have spent most of the season there but now I'm not bothered,I just want this season by with now.our form since the break has been diabolical.to be still in with a shout of top 6 is crazy but I just don't see it happening as it's hard to see where our next win will come from.

Cornelius was good in the second half,he was willing to go and press and atleast his first thought was to go forward when he had the ball,two things our midfield has been lacking all season.if he doesn't start next time out then the games a bogie.

Hibs are just as bad as us,so that feels like one that's got away.the ref has cost us upto a point but you can't concede the soft goals that we did today no matter if you have 11 players on the park.

It was borderline for me and a yellow at worst but with that ref in charge,we are always risking a red with tackles like that.i totally agree though it was needless to go in like that in a position on the field where there was no danger to us.

Agreed,mcginley could drop a clanger at any minute and donnelly isn't mobile enough to be in a team with 10 men.we need to defend our box better and any opportunities in and around the box we need to be shooting.the first time a hibs player dives into a challenge our player should be going down like they were shot and give that wee fud collum something to think about.

That first goal gets worse everytime you see it,that's shocking defending from mcginley to get beaten so easy.

A man down or not,were just not very good,we have no chance with guys like donnelly and mcginley lumbering about.

Another shite goal to concede,you could get about 10 buses between our centre halfs there.

That sums it all up,we should be one up then it's almost looking like game over already.

It was a yellow card but when we have collum refereeing our games then it was always going to be a red,he's a wank of the highest order,just like craig thomson you know what's coming before the game even starts.

It isn't really as it's his beyond daft team selections every week that are putting us in the shit,he's creating problems by the game before a ball is even kicked.

That's my thoughts,for me he has fucked up our league campaign since the break by changing the team every week,if we lose today after him picking that team then there is no way he can be defended after it.

We might get lucky and get away with it but to be picking a team like that for a home game against a team that is struggling just as much as we are is shocking,just when you thought his team selections couldn't get any more mind boggling.

2 central midfielders and 1 of them is donnelly,holy fuck.

Giving the run were on and the game being on the tele,if we could get up and over 5000 by kick off that would be good going.

Slattery is definitely a mystery,he was our best midfielder by a long way earlier in the season then he's hardly got back in after suspension I think it was,considering how poor our midfield are at keeping the ball and making passes,you would think he would be in the team more than he is.

Not for me mate,that lopsided 442 we played in a midweek game at firhill has scarred me for life.we really need to do something with our midfield though,I would like us to to go with 2 strikers and someone to link the play between midfield and up front,most likely roberts.

I don't think there is much wrong with the way the people at the top are running the club,I would even say it's as good as we could ask for at a club like ours.the only problem right now is the manager who seems to be pretty clueless right now and has no idea how to set us up,making 3 and 4 changes every game is bad enough but to then go out and play exactly the same way as the week before is laughable.like you I don't see playing 442 as much of an answer either,we don't have 2 good enough wingers to play in the same team and we struggle with 3 in midfield as it is without only playing 2 in there.

Giving his height goss would be good option to get into the box when the ball is out wide,having another target to hit and ariel threat wouldn't go amiss.having two midfielders getting forward or taking it in turns would be good but right now I would settle for one.

433 would work just fine if alexander used it properly,having 3 sitting defensive side of the ball all the time is a joke.our midfield is so easy to play against,we should have atleast 1 midfield runner to get the opposition midfield thinking and get another goal threat in the box.its anybody's guess what our midfield are actually there to do.alexander makes 3 and 4 changes most games and yet still sets us out to play the exact same way so I don't see changing formation making much difference.get your best 11 on the park and actually try and go and win the game would be a start,having nothing but defence type midfielders at home to the like of county and dundee is nonsense.

Good post.the buck stops with alexander,what we're seeing on the pitch is clearly how he wants us to play,long hoofs up the park,zero football in the middle of the park,no forward runners from midfield,full backs that stand off and let crosses into the ball and were a team that has very little goal threat.we got away with it earlier in the season when we were reasonably solid at the back and had watts quality up front but now that we can't buy a win,alexander doesn't have the answer.the constant changes to the starting line up are one thing but to then just keep playing the exact same way is just madness.how can we expect consistency on the park when the manager makes as many changes every week that does,there's not one solid partnership that's been formed throughout the team,the players must be wondering will I be playing and who will I be playing with.the cup tie is 50/50 lose that and the season is over,there's no way we're getting fourth and I would say we're most likely to be bottom six than top.

We are absolutely fucking hopeless

Anything other than a win at home against the team bottom of the league when we can potentially go back into fourth with a win will be unacceptable.i don't care how we do it but the three points are a must today.
