  1. They tweets from polworths mrs are embarrassing, clearly she is just coming away with stuff he has been telling her, robinson lasley and alexander have all spoke about issues in the dressing room and it's now safe to say polworth is surely one of the problems, the sooner he is out of the club the better.

  2. After the defensive shit show against kilmarnock I would bring both mugabi and gallagher in today, this game in theory should be the ideal time to get both some minutes on the park.

  3. St mirren fans and the media have wanked themselves into a frenzy making out they've had a great season while playing good football and that goodwin is the new guardiola but yet we can go two points behind them if we beat them,i would love nothing more even will all our troubles this season than for us to finish above them.

just listened to it again and deffo, heez got the hump with something , someone , but just my opionion by his body laungage and tone of voice

I wouldn't be surprised if that is indeed the case, both robinson and lasley have alluded to to things not being quite right in the dressing room this season.

Gallacher should have started. Not with benefit of hindsight. Just the fact we have started a young boy ahead of an experienced and an International player that would hold our defence together better imho.

Might seem clever by Alexander but that was a daft decision form the get go !

I agree with that,we should be starting with our best players while the threat of relegation is still even a distinct possibility,I get that magloire and lamie have been decent enough the last couples of games but let's be honest there not good enough.theres serious work to be done defensively over the summer.

Livi fan on P & B saying Scott Robinson rumoured to be signing for us in summer him and Guthrie are probably the 2 main Livi players imo but not an expert on them .

I've always thought robinson to be one of livis best players so i certainly wouldn't mind if we signed him,I've not seen much of guthrie other than against us but he seems to be a big no nonsense centre half thats a threat at set pieces, again i wouldn't be against us bringing him in for next season.

Looks like the marching season has started early, it's a feckin national disgrace that the police are not only allowing that but assisting blatant law breakers with an illegal unsanctioned parade.

Others will look at that and say why should I bother with the lockdown rules when that mob don't, lives may be lost due to that shite we have seen today.

Spot on,it's a disgrace when you see the police standing by and allowing this lot to do whatever they want at the best of times but seeing this during a lockdown is absolutely sickening, the police in this country are a joke when it comes to the old firm and you can be sure the footballing authorities will do hee haw about it either.the police vans should have been cramped full of bastards and they should have been nicked and maximum fines handed out.

  8. Gallagher is our best defender and we need to get him back in the team as soon as it's possible no matter what if anything is going on with his contract, get him in the team and help keep us up and then both parties can move on at the end of the season, all that matters is were in the top division come the summer.we need him back and sharpish as the thought of going into a relegation scrap with magloire and lamie is truly frightening.

Fair play to Jordan White. He has his limitations but as he showed at Inverness and now at County, he’ll get on the end of balls into the box and score a few. Unfortunately he joined Motherwell side that has no idea how to get the ball in the box.

We are right back in the mire.

I wasn't a fan of white but the way we used him wasnt good enough,he got 10-15 minutes here and there when we were chasing a game and even then we still didn't have the sense to get balls in the box to him.that result has well and truly put the cat among the pigeons.

  10. Trying to play out from the back isn't a bad idea but you need to have players that are comfortable on the ball and a midfield that are willing to go looking for it and we have neither in our team, there was one occasion in particular yesterday in the first half where we tried to pass it about the back and it turned into total panic stations,it was actually embarrassing to watch.ive no idea how or what we change, were shite at trying to pass the ball and the long ball stuff is just as bad,for me the only hope we have is for the teams below us to be just as bad as I don't see us doing enough on our own.the sooner this season is over and we can get our biggest rebuilding job underway the better.

bottom line is we need to work a damn site harder irrespective of formation or selection.

    from who we have available

                                                    Kelly

                        Magloiore     Lamie     McGinley

    Odonnell.        Crawford     Maguire           Car roll

                                                   Watt

                                            Long.          Cole

I would drop long and bring in another midfielder(if we have anybody fit that is)so we aren't outnumbered in the middle of the park but other than that i agree with the team and formation, that's as good as we're going to get right now, plus it gets away from the disaster that is the 433.

  12. The 4-3-3 needs to ditched and never be seen for the remainder of this season,if we go to paisley and start with it again then I'll have doubts that alexander is the man for us,granted we are ravaged with injuries but it simply wouldn't work even with a full strength side,we can't even try it involving 2 wingers as what we have there aren't good enough.alexander and his coaching team simply have to come up with something, them watching that today has to be the final straw.we really do find ourselves in a mess,a big squad of players and there isn't a formation that really stands out that we would be comfortable playing in.we may scrape by with the odd point here and there and hope the teams below us keep going the way they are but if things really go against us in the next couple of games we are up shit creek, there is zero fight and passion among this current lot,two things that can't be taught.

A model of how to do what, avoid relegation and settle for a bottom 6 finish, they have been as shit as us in recent weeks , a couple of results makes a big difference.

Compare like for like ie 1st choice players for both teams, not the thrown together shambles we had today,  do they have better players , maybe 1 or 2, in certain positions but overall I would back us to beat them as we have done consistently in recent seasons.

We are a fan owned debt free  top flight club for 30 odd years, multiple European qualifications,  do StJ regularly challenge for a top 6 finish or a European spot, no. So are they miles better than us playing wise..no, how the club is run...no, they are a mid table club just like us.

Have to agree, trying to use st johnstone as some kind of example of how a club should be run is nonsense, aye we're having a shit season but even then I wouldn't swap anything they supposedly have over us.

Case and point. Look at that at Johnstone side. They are a similar size of club/ slightly smaller, with a relatively similar playing budget. They have a solid spine, experienced pros mixed with good young players. Miles ahead of us

It's completely self inflicted where we find ourselves, there wasn't a big rebuilding job needing done for once over the summer,we needed maybe 4 players of a standard that could have pushed us on and that's before we even sold turnbull, the club could have been in a really good place but yet we made a total cunt of it by bringing in guys that aren't good enough and then to make it worse we go and bring more players in during january that aren't any better than the shite signed in the summer, you really couldn't make it.two disastrous transfer windows and a change in manager,if we can manage to stay up this season we will have done really well.

How many players in the squad actually give a fuck at this point.

Kelly on loan. SOD stinking attitude all season. Gallagher has apparently talked his way out of the club. Allan Campbell's value drops every time he steps on the park so he's better off injured. Polworth doesn't care. Crawford on loan. Long worst attitude ever. Cole not exactly a man you want in the trenches. Hastie on loan. Seedorf heading out the door.

Watt was the bright spark but today he looks like he has chucked it.

    Terrifying.

Spot on and add in the raft of signings that aren't anywhere near good enough and it's a disaster waiting to happen, terrifying sums it up.
