We will probably limp through to the end of the season and finish in the bottom 6 and that should be it for kettlewell, the thought of him staying on next season and having to oversee another big turn over of players in the summer would likely put me off renewing my season ticket.if the club are on the ball they should be looking at who's out there the now as the potential next manager.
-
Damn I forgot we needed to be experts,I take back what I just said 😂
-
Those stats are grim,we have the least amount of possession in the league which in turn means we create very little in attack and are constantly under pressure at the other end, that's clearly how kettlewell wants us too play but yet he's came out today and said we never spend enough time in the opposition half, total mixed message there from him,I think hes at the stage now we're he's saying any old guff in the hope that we're all daft enough too fall for it.
-
Odonnell should have been out the door at the end of last season for the fact that he isn't a very good player and your right there was definitely issues with him and alexander at the very least.
-
The semi final is a poor argument,we beat dundee utd at home the previous round,it was hardly some big achievement to get there.if we actually made it to the final then fair enough but kettlewells negative approach in the second half at hampden cost us making the final.
-
Holy fuck did he actually say that,he's lost the plot.
-
There can't be many left that's played under the last 4 managers,if kettlewell has lost the dressing room that's on him, today is the perfect example,he's asking defenders to constantly keep coming under pressure cause he has zero interest in playing any forward thinking football,he can't keep asking that when we aren't great at defending at the best of times,I really hope it's true that casey had a pop at kettlewell cause him and the rest would have every right too
-
Sadly your right,I mind you predicted kettlewell would get the job before anybody else.if and when kettlewell goes then frail should be out the door with him,it's both of them are none of them.
-
To lose to them back to back is shocking,we were asking for trouble sitting back and hoping too see that through, add in bringing on the likes of davor and it's no surprise they turned the game around.
-
I've said it all season,it's bedtime stories and horlicks at half time,we go through the motions all the time in the second half of games.
-
Look at davor, absolute shite player of the highest order
-
This team is pish,we've amassed a squad of guff.
-
Fucking pathetic, the guys got a tap in from a yard out without any challenge.
-
We're so bad at clearing our lines
-
I feel exactly the same and giving tomorrow a miss.after being at the recent games at tynecastle, easter road and last week, which were some of the worst performances I've ever seen I'm glad not too be going tomorrow.i usually hate missing games especially when it's in my control if I go or not but I just don't fancy it as I'm almost certain it's going to be the same old shit.our away support have been brilliant all season and I really hope we get a result for us all but especially for those travelling upto perth again.
-
Good on you for bidding and winning that particular lot,I hope you enjoy the day when it comes.
-
I hope you atleast make it through your starter before he puts you too sleep with his endless drivel.
-
He doesn't half waffle a lot of rubbish at times.
-
We're a professional football club, the least we should expect is players being comfortable enough to pass the ball too each other,it's a basic skill, budget shouldn't come into it.when it comes to playing through the midfield having your best player out injured is far from ideal but we have slattery who is decent on the ball and andrews looks the same when he was actually giving the ball in the second half at easter road, there is absolutely no reason why we shouldn't be passing the ball and players moving to give there team mate an option,we do the complete opposite and it can only be down to that's how the manager wants us to play.im all for having some big units in the team at centre half and a target man up front but the constant long ball and playing right Into the oppositions hands is nothing to do with budget.
-
He was anything but astute,he's an average player that's had a number of serious injuries over the past few years,he should never have been signed.we keep hearing we have no money and running on a tight budget,we can't be gambling like this when it comes to handing out contracts.
-
Good post grizzly, the big issue is definitely how he sets us up,he's persisting with a failing system that's playing more into the oppositions hands by the week.the last few away games have been dreadful and it's like watching a carbon copy from the game before.kettlewell never seems to learn anything about the opposing teams despite playing against them so regularly,it's the same starting formation,in game tactics and negative approach, why don't we ever change things before a ball is kicked and look to exploit weaknesses in other teams.if you were scouting us as the opposition, you could write your report on the back of a stamp.its mind boggling that between kettlewell and the experience of frail that they can't see the issues that are in front of them.playing st johnstone again so soon,i can't wait too see the approach we take to that game,if it's same again then that will tell us everything about the manager.
-
The way kettlewell sets us up we're lucky if we create a couple of chances a game so we're never going to have a striker that scores consistently.we currently have the worst problem imaginable in that we score very little while we could conceded at any moment.im not a fan of kettlewell but i think he has enough at his disposal even with the injuries to drop the over cautious approach and start to play a bit more attacking, the current set up, especially the 3 at the back is killing us at the minute.
-
I hope there has been words exchanged in the dressing room, there's some home truths needing to be heard from manager to players and vice versa, that was shocking yet again today.
-
Armstrong is as tall as watt and vale so surely we won't be bringing him in to play as a target man,he might be physically stronger and can mix it that way but if the plan is to keep playing the long ball most of the time then it's pointless bringing in another player at 6 foot.
-
Aye bringing in callachan had disaster written all over it.i get players can get injured at anytime but we really have backed ourselves into a corner with some of our signings of late,we need to be avoiding players with dodgy injury records no matter how cheap and easy the deal is to get done.
