  1. Holloway gives me the fear,he had a decent period earlier in his career but he strikes me as somebody that the modern game has moved on from, that article from his time at grimsby doesn't make for great reading,if he didn't want to move there what chance would we have of him moving permanently up here.mccann looks like the type of appointment we would make.
  2. So that's what a win feels like 😀
  3. Exactly my thoughts on wright, there's no way we should be going for someone that failed in his last role that was identical to the task that he faces with us.im not overly enthused with the names being linked so far but wright would be at the bottom of the pile for me.
  4. The clubs future is on the line,we cant appoint wright who failed in his last relegation battle, that should be a massive red flag for the folk on the board that think wright would be a good idea.giving where we are in the table our options will be limited but the thought of appointing the likes of wright or mcpake as our saviour is pretty depressing.
  5. I was reading that there,he's the man the board want according to the sun, let's hope it's shite as he couldn't save kilmarnock when they found themselves in a similar position to us then left them struggling in the championship, there would be no reason to appoint him.
  6. Fair play to kettlewell for saying what we're all thinking, let's hope we see a reaction against st mirren.
  7. Surely it's just paper and talk and we wouldn't actually be interested in mcpake, the thought of paying compensation for him would be insane.
  8. Ex Brazil international ze maria has applied according to the record.
  9. I couldn't have put it any better myself.
  10. Spot on,it's something like 8 wins in 43 games, weve just went out the cup without a whimper to a lower league team and we're now looking for a 3rd manager of the season, that's a truly atrocious set of circumstances and the players need to take there share of the blame for the mess were in,the sooner the majority of them are gone to never darken our door again the better.
  11. Whatever the factors are,it would suggest they have been going on for a while,so it begs the question why give hammell the whole of january to bring players in when it's clear to most of us that he should have been sacked weeks ago.
  12. Spot on,the recruitment has been dire over the last couple of years especially and all the while our expenditure has gone up,we really have wasted some amount of money on absolute dross.it looks like we have took our eye off the ball and don't really have much of a plan when it comes to recruitment, take Josh morris for example,a 31 year old lower league player with no resale value should not be here on a 2 year contract.the whole club is needing a reset with recruitment process high on the list.
  13. Exactly, hughes was decent enough earlier in his career but the game has moved on from the likes of him,he's just another one of the hangers on involved in the scottish game hoping that somebody gives them a job.
  14. To have believe there needs to be some sort of positive that we can cling to that things might turn in our favour but theres not one aspect of our team that gives me hope, stick with hammell and we're going down.
  15. What was it we heard yesterday about the experienced players all backing hammell but yet again there all making a cunt of it,there total letdowns everyweek.
  16. Butcher will kick anything that moves,he wont be a soft touch like the rest of our midfield.
  17. I thought it was a strange comment when I read it earlier as well.whoever the senior players are that are backing hammell have a brass neck as it's the senior players that have been the biggest let down,Kelly, lamie, goss and van veen have been going through the motions all season, mcginn has been dire for weeks now and then there was o'donnells pitiful display during the week, these are the guys would should be relying on but not one of them are standing up and being counted when it matters.at the end of the day it's all just words about who is backing who within the club if we don't actually start winning some games to get out the mess were in.
  18. Our players aren't any worse than the likes of st mirren and Livingston, the difference is they have a system and a way of playing and there players know exactly what there role is within that system, even last night a poor st johnstone team knew what they were doing, where as we looked looked clueless from the start,we have no positive game plan, that kick and rush stuff last night is disgraceful from a professional team.i totally agree that a lot of the players aren't working hard enough,I said last night after the game that to many are strolling about the park thinking they are something, there conning the club on a weekly basis by picking up there wages.the situation as it stands is still salvageable but only by changing manager,we need someone in that knows how to set a team up properly.i would take 11th as I think we would have enough over two legs in a play off but we're a certs for straight relegation if we don't act now.
  19. The sooner he fucks off at the end of the season the better,im not a fan of mcginn at left back but atleast he would try a leg,o'donnell looked totally uninterested from the start.to think we're relying on guys like him to get us out the mess were in shows how much were in dire straits.
  20. Spot on,were the easiest team around to play against, the last two home games say it all,two teams on bad runs have came to fir park and we have went down with barely a whimper with nisbet scoring the easiest hattrick he will ever get.
  21. Exactly, were motherwell fans we don't expect to be treating to silky football every week but a bit of fight and effort is the least that should be shown which will always go a long way in the league that were playing in but this lot are giving us absolutely nothing to get behind,I honestly think we're doomed.
  22. This is the biggest bunch of losers we have ever had, look at O'Donnell tonight,he gets back into the team and didn't look interested from the start, the ball was running under his feet,he was passing the ball either out the park or to the opposition, fucking shambolic all round.
  23. That's a horrific stat,to go that long without a home win in this league is a disgrace and the sad thing is we could easily not win another game at home this season were that bad.
