  1. There's an article in the NOTW that suggests John Ruddy could be back in the SPL on loan again next season. I'd like to think we'd get first refusal as he's obviously enjoyed himself at Fir Park and he's guaranteed a game every week.
  2. When does Tom Hateley's contract run out? He's in the Daily Retard today talking about Europe and being back in for pre-season early so I assume he must be contracted to us until August/September. That means he could actually be here for our full European run and then sign for somebody else. I suppose the plus side is that it gives us a bit longer over the summer to find a replacement if he's leaving.
  3. Don't see how he could say they'll start the season with us to keep them in the shop window. Surely there's a fair chance they could be sold during the close season?
  4. I think it might have been St Johnston. I'm sure I was at the game where he scored but I missed the Hibs defeat.
  5. In Craig Browns post-match interview he's said there will be a lot of work to be done in the summer. He mentioned that we're losing 3 players (Obrien and the 2 Everton boys) and that we may lose a few more as there are a few more who haven't yet committed to new deals. Didn't sound too promising.
  6. It's been a long hard season and it's definitely showing in todays performance. I think playing Rangers at Ibrox is just a bridge too far after the effort put in on Wednesday, especially since Rangers have had an extra day to recover from their last game. We really need Dundee United reserves to do us a favour by scoring 2 in the second half but I can't see it happening. It'll probably finish 2-0 to Hibs.
  7. What a night. Since I got in I've watched the game again and the highlights on Sky and I can't speak highly enough of Juke and Sutton. They both ran themselves into the ground and they put their heart and soul into the game. We deserve 4th after that.
  8. You're probably right Fraser would have been crucified as in my opinion he would then have been at least partly to blame for 8 out of the last 9 goals we've lost while not making too many saves. Ruddy definitely had an off day yesterday but he's proved time and again that he's a quality keeper so that's why he's avoided the type of critisism that Fraser has had. Pretty simple when you think about it.
  9. Ruddy having a poor game doesn't make Michael Fraser any better. Ruddy has proved time and again that he is a good keeper but Fraser has yet to convince the majority of fans. If Davie Cooper had a poor game would he have deserved the same abuse that Joe McLeod used to endure?
  10. The only reason that it's got to 15 pages is because a couple of posters who seem to have the same opinion on every subject want to argue black is white to get a rise out of people. If they weren't involved this thread would have fizzled out long ago so the sooner people learn to ignore them the better.
  11. There are 22 players on the pitch and Fraser is the only one who has managed to fall flat on his face.
  12. I'm amazed as well. I wish I was recording the game as it's not often he does that. Take the blinkers off, the guy is a bombscare.
  13. I see what you tried t do. You tried to use not being match sharp as an excuse for Michael Fraser forgetting one of the most basic rules of goalkeeping which is don't start to come for a cross and then stop in no mans land.
  14. It's blatantly obvious that NealeMFC was comparing a fully fit John Ruddy with a fully fit Michael Fraser. You've either totally missed the gist of the majority of posts on this thread or you're trying to be a smartarse and failing badly. Take a day off wee man.
  15. Do you stand by this opinion?
  16. Is that 3 crosses as well as being partly to blame for the goals or including being partly to bame for the goals?
  17. Has tonights performance made a difference to anybody's opinion? Do people who previously thought Fraser was poor now think that he's alright or anybody who thought he was decent now think otherwise? A fair few people have previously posted on this thread so it would be intersting to know what they think. My opinion is that he would be a reasonable second choice but I wouldn't be confident with him as first choice.
  18. Does Craig Brown know about this? I assume he doesn't but if he does I'm absolutely raging that the manager of our team has given praise to the interim manager of our opponents when he has personally offended one of our supporters!
  19. Every time he's played he's looked suspect. My opinion of him on the games he has played is that I wouldn't be confident with him as the first choice next season. Do you disagree with that?
  20. Neil Lennon was a wee shite on the pitch but I can't really see what he has done to deserve your description of him. Has he personally offended you in some way?
  21. I'm wouldn't say Fraser cost us the goals. In my opinion each goal was down to more than one player but Fraser played a part in both. He also flapped at a few cross balls and didn't really fill me with confidence.
  22. He's obviously never been match sharp since he came to us as he's looked dodgy every time he's played.
  23. Anybody who says they'd be happy watching Fraser as the first choice keeper next season is obviously having a laugh or fishing. We looked suspect at cross balls all night and the few that Fraser did come for he made an arse of.
  24. If they can't raise their game enough to beat a first division team in their last chance at getting any silverware this season I don't see them being able to do it to merely delay Rangers winning the league. We should go there for a win.
