  1. Because it was made clear by the well society that members would have the final say as to whether the society keep majority control or not.
  2. Maybe the well society have to take a share of responsibility for that as well.
  3. How I feel about the need for outside investment came long before anything to do with Bermack. And to be fair to him he has said nothing publicly about having to reduce the share to less than 51 per cent. That may well be his view. But he hasn't stated that. Other people have. Like Gavin McCafferty. I don't care about Netflix either or Hollywood connections. I don't even have a TV and I don't watch Netflix. I just wont write off someone wanting to invest in my club at this point
  4. And how does any manager know when he signs a player that they are going to be able to play consistently for 30-40 games? I believe Halliday was signed for another year when we got him on loan - it was in the press as far back as January that when his loan deal ended he'd be signing on for another year.
  5. Lamie went out on loan three weeks after the season started. Tierney is also on loan. McGinley was also recovering from a serious injury and made two starts afterwards. I don't know how you can say a player that went out on loan contributed nothing - of course he was going to contribute nothing playing for another club.
  6. We finished 7th last year and are currently 8th - it's fine margins clearly. As for the comment re punching well above our weight - I've not found it yet but there's a lot of interviews to watch. He was genuinely gutted at not making it in the post match interview that goes on the club feed. Personally - I'd love top 6 every year but it's a tight league and if we had a complete disaster of a season and then ended up tenth - I'd take that as well. Sometimes survival has to be the thing that matters most
  7. He might not . But the club might. Personally my issue with fan ownership is that there's only 3000 members. Members that could cancel at any point.
  8. Asking for outside investment isn't the same thing as giving up fan ownership - the fans get making the decision as to what happens with the well society
  9. But fans have the option to say no
  10. Someone needs to get a big plate
  11. Given that we are 8th with five games to go I don't see how - what's cost us is the number of draws we've had over the season and our defence which has been shocking at points. He's not the only striker that's missed a sitter either.
  12. I personally don't think so. Obviously the speculation is going to affect him
  13. Im not pleased for County. They are below us and as such I don't want them to win
  14. I personally don't think Blair deserved a red. The fact that Collum might have lost the plot after has zero to do with Spittal and everything to go with how crap refs are
  15. McGinn has had a very decent season in my view. I agree in the respect they the clean sheets are an issue.. But the goals scored has helped us. I think people should lay off SOD. He's an easy target and he gets grief other players don't get. Spencer isn't even our player anymore.
  16. I'd like to think we've got one win left in us
  17. I don't know tbh. He might go back down south. If the rumours are true about the wages he's on with us do you see St Mirren in particular matching them?
  18. Id be more worried if I were St Johnstone. Also over the last few fixtures Ross County have lost three and drawn one. Plus the bottom teams need to play one another and logically teams below us will drop points.... Looking at Hibs to batter everyone below us into submission too in their quest to stay 7th 😂
  19. I would personally give the young boys a chance once we are mathematically safe.
  20. Apparently Paton is recovering well. I'd like to see Slattery offered terms. I think Davor is decent. Not bothered about Tierney tbh or Maguire
  21. I waited ages for a bus home - around 6pm and then one wouldn't stop at the bus stop when it passed - clearly that was why.
