  1. I think Butcher deserves to stay. Just my view. He's been solid in times where Bevis hasn't been. He's got a lot of good qualities as a player. A shame about that injury
  2. I actually completely agree with this. He should have been dropped ages ago but our squad was so thin it would have been harder to do. SOD gets all the pelters. Very rarely Bevis
  3. Disagree. Cannot see how Butcher has to go but Bevis stays. Bevis is a good guy but he's cost us too many times defensively.
  4. Sorry it's five in 26. Yeah the draws are killing us but I honestly can't be bothered right now. I'm really sorry for the folk paying every week particularly away games to see us lose but if we need to stutter our way over the line so be it. And if we go down we go down. I hope we won't but I'll support the team no matter. It's out of my control. All I can do is back the team
  5. It's five in 25 I believe and no not great reading but we've won five
  6. We never do anything the easy way that's for sure
  7. According to Frail he's not signed a pre contract.
  8. It was me that suggested that Spittal had been rested because I saw that elsewhere on social media but someone else later on the Motherwell Facebook page said he failed a fitness test this morning. Folk were also saying Butcher was suspended but apparently it was injury that kept him out.
  9. Or Stevie Robinson has him locked in a cupboard.
  10. A few people have said it over on Motherwell Facebook - which doesn't of course make it factual - just that they observed that Butcher was suspended and that Spittal was being rested.
  11. More than one person has suggested it elsewhere on social media - not that I'm saying that makes it factual but given the number of games we've played lately it could be a possibility.
  12. He's apparently being rested. Butcher suspended.
  13. I actually remember someone elsewhere on social media wanting the club to arrange a meeting with Graham Alexander and fans so that he could justify to the fans his team selections.
  14. I actually don't think he said anything that controversial - said that it was to be expected that new players might make the odd mistake. Obviously understand why people might feel frustrated that he's not talking about other more established players but I've never thought that Kettlewell has been very player critical. In fact there have been post match interviews where I think he's been too generous to players when we've been honking. He's also in essence being put on the spot with the journalists asking the questions
  15. This isn't Miller's first season. He got his first start at the beginning of the 22/23 season. From a personal perspective I always thought that Bair put a decent shift in even when he wasn't scoring.
  16. To be fair he said in the interview that Halliday was a key player for us. Perhaps Davor took his chance when someone else got injured. Casey maybe.
  17. I have to stick my neck out here and say I don't think MJC is yodo or steelboy. I think steelboy has a certain style of posting. Tbh I may regret saying this but I don't think steelboy is the worst. It's just that so many of his posts just seems like he doesn't like the club - when that probably isn't the case. It's just exasperation like we all go through.
  18. I personally don't understand VAR. Its supposed to deal with referee errors but it seems like it's making more. I also know that sometimes it goes for you and sometimes not but that's not really a consolation. Like nothing worse than an onside goal being chopped off. Needs chucked. (won't be though I think ).
  19. You don't know that to be fair - none of us do. Aye they might batter us 6 nil but that was a possibility the last time.
  20. We drew with Celtic the last time we played them did we not?
  21. No one has threatened me - there's no worries on that score. Everyone is different in their views and in their delivery but personally I sometimes don't feel like responding to certain posters - not because of the fact we have different views on Kettlewell. But because some posters post their opinions about the club and players as facts - and they are entitled to do that. But when you see posts writing off players before they've kicked a ball and saying Bair is useless - it's clear that some peoples dislike of Kettlewell has crossed over to anything he does is wrong. Not for a minute suggesting thats how all his critics feel.
  22. Im not going to do that. Im not going to shame anyone. They just picked the wrong day. Like .. I went to a gig. Someone tripped me up by complete accident. I've broken my nose. Smashed my face. Two black eyes then I come on here to someone saying you aren't welcome on here. It was just the wrong day. That's all. Another day it wouldn't have mattered that much. I've been through a lot online elsewhere. Threats .. some really horrible stuff. Stuff that almost ruined my entire life. And that has nothing to do with people on here .. but see when folk are messaging saying stuff like that. It triggers all the stuff you have been through before. (And they weren't to know that). All I'm saying is that we are all human behind the keyboard irrespective of whether we agree about Motherwell. I would honestly be ashamed if I posted something to someone the way someone spoke to me last week. Id be absolutely cringing myself inside out. The fact that they aren't speaks volumes and to be honest. I don't blame people for leaving here. And that isn't a pop at the mods. Not in the slightest. I also think if I weren't female I would not have been on the other end of it. They would not have spoken to a man like that. No way. And I also need to mind how I post. And if I get it wrong which I have. I'll always message the person concerned and say sorry.
