  1. 'Well are in a fortunate position where bottle needn't be a factor, haggis. There is no relegation battle and a top six finish is assured. Go out and enjoy playing.
  2. This result just put the seal on a truly terrible day for me yesterday. I should have known; you guys have told me about the rollercoaster enough times, and how to expect the unexpected. Didn't see this result coming.
  3. Home banker for me. 'Well by a couple of goals.
  4. Eight reds apiece for the Gorgie gulag and the sheep. The dirty bastards.
  5. I fell for it and was just about to join the celebrations in the thread
  6. Fair point there. Listening on roadio, I expected 'Well to take the points when United went down to ten. Hey ho, it wasn't to be, but top six is a near certainty; a situation everyone would have taken last summer when the squad was down to the bare bones.
  7. Auld Broon is too long in the tooth to panic after one bad result. A defeat at Tannadice ( even against ten men ) to a good United team doesn't represent the end of the world. Motherwell didn't turn up yesterday, it happens even to the best teams, but as long as it doesn't become a habit it's tolerable, and you move on.
  8. Yeah, bad day today, but in the grand scheme of things aren't too bad at all. One setback isn't a disaster, and a top six finish looks the safest bet. I'm away to see how my team fairs at Bolton. A win is vital. Catch you later
  9. Then two for one on items outwith the team shirts is a bargain Shop guys, are you getting more hoodies in?
  10. I feel for all those 'Well fans who made the trip north. Not a good day for them, and it's a shame the run had to end against ten men. Put this one down to one of those days.
  11. That would be a shame, the current strips are great and their other items look good, too. I know some people have complained about the quality of the jerseys, but I've had no problems myself.
  12. It's all gone a bit flat. I was hoping for constant pressure on the United goal, but they sound quite comfortable.
  13. So is Canterbury going to be the supplier next season? I like the hoody, but there's no XL available.
  14. Really? Fair play to him, even though I don't understand his thinking. Think it's Alan Irvine I was thinking of.
  15. The co-commentator Brian Irvine, is he the grey haired guy who was Preston manager recently?
  16. Need to come out all guns blazing. Pull one back and anything could happen with the extra man. Early goal in the second half could make for a great game.
  17. Yeah, looked all set for another fruitful day. It's the Motherwell experience, as you say: expect the unexpected.
  18. Sounds like Ruddy had a bit of a shocker there
  19. Totally off topic, but on SSN just now it says Luton are 7-0 up after 35 minutes!. Is that a mistake??
  20. Pal of yours, mate? I once asked who the guy is who gives it "Mon ye 'Weeeeeelllllllll" regular as clockwork. "Big Rab" was the reply. Legend indeed Offside against Sutton.
  21. Sounds like the legendary Big Rab has made to journey to Dundee. Don't need a P.A. with him about
