  1. At least this result confirms that we are definitely not a cup side.
  2. The ice settled and was quickly melted by an amateur flame thrower in extra time.
  3. Tonight was an opportunity to right some wrongs from the first leg and we fucked it big style. No excuses Motherwell, you were beaten by a semi pro side. Shocked, not really I have supported Motherwell for too long to be shocked anymore.
  4. Like us they are probably fucked for seeing the game.
  5. We are building this team up to be something they are not (they are really not that good). If we can’t beat a semi pro side to go into the next round I would be happy for it to be our last ever European game. We are the better team, so no fucking about Motherwell just go out and beat this mob. Mon the Well!
  6. Sore one, however, if yir no fast, yir last.
  7. Shocking if true. United should be named and shamed on every Scottish sport media outlet (or maybe they have been and I missed it).
  8. Tell them the facts... you are a full time professional side playing a semi-professional team, go out and show them who’s boss.
  9. Financially, losing this game would be a very bitter pill to swallow. We worked hard last season to earn the right to play in Europe, and to be eliminated this early would be a massive kick in the balls. As regards to not playing another friendly I am unsure how much this would have benefitted the squad fitness wise. At the end of the day they are semi-pro and we should be too strong for them. I would go as far as to say that it would be a shock if we lost to this team, however, this is Motherwell and anything is possible.
  10. Because we are nice and cuddly and enjoy looking after other teams players. Maybe we should just go all the way open a North Lanarkshire Hibs academy. Mon the Hibees!
  11. I am not sure, I assumed the €130,000 went to the winners. Edit: I have just seen Frazzie’s post.
  12. Some good money still to be won (potentially €420,000 before the group stages even start!). The game on Thursday against Stjarnan is worth a cool €130,000 to the winner. No pressure Motherwell.
  13. Not qualifying for the next round will mean losing out on some much needed cash. With that in mind, this game is probably one of the most important that we will play this season. Being paired against a semi-professional club should have meant easy money, however, in true Motherwell style we have made it harder than it should have been. Financially, failure is not an option.
  14. Hopefully the police/stewards will not have any issues with a small group standing behind the goal.
  15. 300/400 was the amount estimated by the club, however I am not sure how they reached that figure.
  16. They will, but the question is where. Icelandic sports bar telly? Due to them still having a good chance of a upset they will take all their allocated tickets. If we had won the game comfortably on Thursday there would have been no problem in accommodating 350-400 Well fans. However, now that the game is in the balance I am not so sure.
  17. It's a fair bit to travel with no guarantee of a ticket. With Motherwell expecting to take around 400, the fans to tickets ratio doesn't add up. It's certainly an expensive trip to potentially only watch it on the telly.
  18. Spot on, their fans will almost certainly come out in number to witness a potential upset.
  19. I didn’t realise Buzz had a short stint playing in Azerbaijan for Tony Adams team.
  20. I would be surprised if St Johnstone had a bigger budget than us for players. I reckon our budgets will be on a par with each other.
