  1. Tomorrow will be too late as the game is today.
  2. I can see us sneaking a narrow 1-0 win with Henrik netting the vital goal.
  3. Can anyone confirm if we make any money on this deal?
  4. Football has a habit of producing cruel twists of fate.
  5. Was he the ‘Goal Machines’ agent? The article only talks about Man U, Arsenal and Tottenham. I am surprised the Rancid didn’t mention it.
  6. Alex’s not settling for second best, he’s aiming to win it.
  7. United were 3 points ahead of City going into the game, however, they did have an inferior goal difference. Technically if Law hadn’t scored a 0-0 draw would have been enough to keep them up. The other results on the day went against them as well which meant they were relegated.
  8. I’ve been going to games for nearly 50 years and I agree this side have a relegation look about them. It will take courage and determination to get us out of this mess, however, at least we are fortunate that we have some time to sort it out.
  9. Dennis Law did this whilst playing for Man City against Man United, the goal still haunts him.
  10. It’s worrying when the results of other games become as important as your own. Todays Ross County/Caley match is a six pointer for the Well.
  11. He appeared to be our only hope when he came on in the second half (according to the radio). So maybe he can be excused today.
  12. 9 games in and I don’t see how we are going to get out of this mess. As Hibs proved last season, losing becomes a habit, and that’s a habit we are becoming pretty good at.
  13. Even this early on we are in survival mode. The way we are playing at the moment, I would accept third bottom. What’s clear is that big changes will be required next season no matter what division we are playing in.
  14. Unfortunately we are also an average team. The difference is that their average is slightly better than ours.
  15. That’s the problem when you don’t win games, similar to Hibs last year you fall deeper and deeper into the mire.
  16. New club, new hair transplant.
  17. I wish Faddy all the best, the man is a legend. The only negative for Saints is that he probably won't be ready for the first team action until April 2015.
  18. It won’t, my only concern was for the amount of work that Flow is probably having to do behind the scenes. ‘The dross on the pitch’ as you put it, is down to a combination of the manager, coaching staff and the players. In my opinion Flow is one of the few employees who is free of criticism (from me anyway) at this present time. The playing side of our club are going through a sticky patch at the moment and hopefully we can sort it out with the resources that we have at our disposal.
  19. I was merely curious, as some people fit certain roles, similar to footballers who are only comfortable playing in certain positions. Without doubt Flow was the Messi of Scottish Club Media (the numerous awards are testament to that) and I suspect he is still adjusting to his new role. If he is having to do this, and his old role as well, that can only make it harder for him.
  20. Do we know what Flow's role is and who at the club now handles the role that LD used to do? Also, who is currently doing Flow's old media role, or is he still doing his old job as well?
  21. Even this early on in the campaign we are starting to fall into a similar trap that Hib’s fell into late last season. I really hope that we can dodge the dreaded play off spot this year, as I don’t fancy our chances against Sevco or Hearts who put 5 past Livi today. Hopefully we can at least scrape a point as another defeat doesn’t bare thinking about. I’ll go for an optimistic 1-1 draw.
  22. I have been thinking this for a while now, however, happily I have no evidence to back this up. Crowds are down and defeats like we suffered today certainly won’t help our finances. The biggest shock for me has been the fall in our performance levels from last season which appears to have happened quite quickly.
  23. I am happy that I missed todays game as it looks as if we are in free fall. Hamilton have beaten us both on plastic and grass in the last few days, so any excuses about the artificial pitch will hopefully be put to bed. Even this early on we are looking like a team that will be battling at the wrong end of the table for most of the season.
