I am sure that is the case Andy, however, if my memory serves me correct the job description seemed pretty tough, and filling it might not be that easy. At the time I wondered if the financial incentive was there to lure someone to take up the position. In saying that, I don't remember a salary scale being mentioned on the ad, and for all I know we may well be able to pay the going rate for the right person. There is a good chance that they will be able to find a Media graduate who is willing to accept a slightly lower wage (18K?) to get on the employment ladder. However, I suspect candidates with more experience will be expecting anything upwards of 23K a year to take the job.
Edit: The job details are still on the official site and the closing date for applications was 12 June.
