We don't need The Sun to tell us that, I had real high hopes for the boy (his style of play has always reminded me of a young Scott McDonald) and I believed he had the potential to move on to bigger things. You need look no further than Paul Slane to see what can happen to your career if you don’t make the right decisions. Bob’s future now looks set to be mainly based in the lower leagues (coming back to haunt us with late goals in the early rounds of the league and Scottish Cup) If he is lucky he might get a move to the likes of Partick Thistle.

This one is a no brainer for me as the cost of getting there + the ticket is not worth it. I went to the Thistle game as for me it was quicker to get to than Fir Park. Hopefully I will have another opportunity to go to Tynecastle next season if we meet them in the cup. It’s a shame as I believe we could potentially give these kids a serious hammering on Saturday.
-
Sounds like a plan just avoid hearing the score and watch it like it’s live. Time to get the beers in.
-
We probably could, however, I am sure there would be a few vultures flying overhead waiting to offer him a better deal. It would be better to secure something that keeps him at Motherwell until the end of the season at least. After that who knows where he may end up.
-
We can't afford him, simple as that. The early Scottish Cup exit put paid to any slim hope we had of paying a fee for him (although this would be highly unlikely even if we did have any money!). There are very few clubs in Scotland who pay transfer fees for players these days, even Sevco are cutting back on the spending. We will just need to tell Viking that there is no hope in hell that we can give them any money for Anier. I wish the boy well wherever he ends up.

The last I heard he found a steady job as a car salesman and probably manages the company seven a side football team. He has some good feedback as well...

Lets have less of the MJC talk and more about how many we will score in celebration of your birthday. At the moment Hearts are fielding a bunch of kids barely out of school and on paper it should be one of our less stressful visits to Tynecastle.
-
I can’t imagine the club not noticing or ignoring something as simple as a burst pipe. They as much as anybody would have wanted the game to go ahead and I reckon there is nothing to the burst pipe theory.
-
Care to name your source? In saying that it wasn’t the only section that was effected so the game would still have been called off.
-
A great opportunity to really hurt Hearts and improve our goal difference. They are on their knees begging for mercy and it’s time that we put them out of their misery. I predicted at least a 2-0 win, after their defeat to Thistle today we should be looking to score at least 4.

Don’t tell the wife she thinks I’m working.

I am sure when it comes to Motherwell even MJC would say he is a glass half full sort of guy. On checking his predictions so far this season he is not as negative as I first thought. On about half of the games he predicted a Well win (although he was posted missing for the early part of the season.) That aside do I sense a new period of optimism running through MJC's predictions? v - Hearts quote: MJC 2-0 Hearts. v - St Johnstone quote: MJC 2-1 to us in a tight match. v - Partick Thistle quote: MJC I can see them winning 2-0 here sadly. v - Aberdeen quote: MJC 5-1 to them. v - St Mirren quote: MJC Either 1-1 or 1-0 to them. v - Ross County quote: MJC 1-0 to us v - Celtic quote: MJC 7-0 Celtic. v - Albion Rovers quote: MJC Can't see us having any problems getting through the tie v - Kilmarnock quote: MJC 1-0 Well. v - Dundee United MJC Failed to predict v - Hibernian quote: MJC 2-1 to us v - St Johnstone MJC Failed to predict v - Hearts MJC Failed to predict v - Celtic MJC Failed to predict v - Ross County MJC Failed to predict v - Livingstone MJC Failed to predict v - Dundee United MJC Failed to predict v - St Mirren quote: MJC I'll try and be optimistic and go for 3-1 to us.

Whilst anything can happen in football on current form I would be surprised if we didn't win this one. Hearts are on the ropes, they have suspensions, injuries and according to Sportsound they are struggling to find enough subs for their game tomorrow. The fans have been terrific at backing them this season, however, there are only so many times that they can play the part of the 12th man.
-
I agree. For atmosphere Tynecastle is a one of the best stadiums in Scotland to visit. You never know we might draw them in the cup if we can stay in it long enough.
-
Your method of predicting results is baffling, surely current form is a better guide?
-
Just curious, tell me what Hearts have done in recent games to suggest that they will beat us 2-0?
-
Games off. Waterlogged pitch. Seriously though I think we can win this one by at least two clear goals.
-
I tweeted Motherwell and the Saints game was in danger, however, a dry night saved it. If the game had been on the Tuesday it would have been called off.
-
I am not sure what else Motherwell could have done to get this game on. Over 180mm of rain in the last nineteen days (the average is 30mm in a month). Maybe we should just install a 8million pound roof over the Ark and be done with it.
-
Sometimes the weather is just too strong for even the best drainage systems.
-
Stuff Sky, if the park drys out play it tomorrow @ 3pm.
-
Disappointing, however not unexpected, with more rain forecast for the rest of the day it is the correct decision.
-
I am not sure what’s involved in that process. Are acts of vandalism covered by a clubs insurance policy (Celtic or Motherwell’s)?

Cholesterol heaven, its good to know that even in the USA you can still eat, drink and die in the traditional scottish way. Sick Man of Europe eat your heart out (literally).
