  1. No you are correct, the claret sash black top was worn for the first time on Skippy Sunday. I am not sure on the regulations regarding match kit, although you do need to register your playing kit with the SFA before the start of each season. There may be a loophole that allows you to wear new kit during the season or there is a possibility that we have already registered the new kit with the SFA. Anyway, if it happens it would be nice to see the new kit in action before the start of next season.
  2. Not that I know of, however I did catch the film footage of him outside the Police station on Sky News.
  3. I was under the impression that you had to register your playing kits before the season starts. If that's the case then i doubt that we will be wearing next seasons kit at the end of this season.
  4. A fair point, Griffiths is normally the type of person you would expect to be caught up in this sort of mess. What's the chances that Higgy will be fined by the club?
  5. This puts a bit of a damper on what was a great night for Higgy and Motherwell Football Club. He was released from Police custody at 9.00am according to the BBC.
  6. Talking about shirts, this Bukta top is probably one of my least favourite Motherwell away tops.
  7. The Puma designers are obviously Trekkies...
  8. Assuming that we will be using the new Puma template, it is highly unlikely that the top will be all the one colour. This new template is designed for colour to be added to the different sections of the shirt.
  9. Manufacturer templates allow clubs to select any section and colour the way they see fit. Assuming our away will be mainly black, these are a few possible combinations. However, in my opinion this template still looks far too much like a training kit.
  10. There is a good chance that our away kit will follow this template... New Falkirk Puma home and away
  11. A short lived top from the days when the same kit would usually be used for several seasons. The top that replaced it in season 1960-61 was kept in service until season 68-69. Something that you will never see in the the modern game, where kits are changed sometimes on a yearly basis.
  12. A massive well done to the boys today, everyone played their part in what was a very good performance against a strong Celtic side. Europe here we come!
  13. I would expect nothing less. We could maybe roll out a red carpet from the tunnel as well to to add to the occasion. I hope the Motherwell DJ has some Celtic minded songs looked out to play over the tannoy. As for the score, 2-1 to the mighty Well.
  14. The amber has gone too yellow in some shirts (however as you say this may be the lighting). It is very difficult to strike the correct balance between yellow, amber and orange, personally I would prefer it if it was a touch darker. In my opinion the amber on our 1991 Admiral top was the perfect shade.
  15. As shown in the Leeds game, hooped socks and white shorts looked very smart with the simpler, cleaner 125 top.
  16. The claret sleeves reminds me of our 2008-09 Bukta shirt. At first glance it looks as if the shorts and socks have come from a different seasons kit, however I will reserve judgement until I see it in the flesh.
  17. This was the one they chose. Looks more like a training shirt to me. .
  18. If it is this template, I reckon it will probably be black and white similar to the Chesterfield mock up.
  19. Chesterfield had three away designs supplied by Puma to pick from.
  20. We are certainly due another black away kit, so it wouldn’t surprise me. Personally I have always favoured white away kits with subtle hints of C&A.
  21. If we used the new Wolves Puma template our home kit would look something like this...
  22. If you mean this one, I liked that as well.
  23. The thread you are thinking of is here.
  24. We are indeed big yin, I was just curious to see which Puma template would be the forum favourite.
