The fact that McCall sees a striker as his next priority, has put the final nail in the goal machines coffin. Esteban Casagolda will go down in folklore on this forum, but when it comes to football that’s the only recognition he will ever get.

Have to agree, McCall got it spot on. With a few rubs of the green we could have just sneaked it.

The only way we the fans can make a decision on Casagolda, is to see him play in some proper games. McCall watches him in training and chooses not to play him, so ultimately we may never get the chance too see if he is indeed a fraud. If he can’t get a game against Stranraer I’m afraid his time at the Well is up.

A few good performances today with Lasley, Hammell and Jennings being my top 3. Out of those I would have to go with Lasley.

Just back in and we were very unlucky to lose that game. We were by far the better team in the second half and deserved to at least take it to extra time. Ah well there’s still the big cup to play for.

He needs to get on the park first. He’s maybe worth a punt today as not many teams will know his strengths or weaknesses. Mon the Goal Machine!
