Unsurprisingly St Johnstone have rested quite a few players for tonight’s game.

Nervous times, but they can't let it effect their style of play. If any of them get booked so be it. If I had to choose one on the list to take a hit for the team, it would have to be Hateley.

I don't know a lot about Facebook but this does seem like an interesting feature. You should contact the marketing people at the club with your suggestion.

Not sure if the £10 juvenille ticket price had a baring on the Europa crowd. Even though the £15/5 family ticket for Hampden is cheaper than a combined £20(adult) / £10 (Juvenille) Odense ticket. Other factors to think about are, it was held at Fir Park and was not live on council telly.

We have a lot of “floating fans” who would go to a Final but will not be as keen to go to a semi that is live on the BBC. As I say I hope we do take over 10,000 but I can see the majority of floating fans e.g (relatives, friends) hoping for the big one. Any indication yet on how many St.Johnstone fans will be there?

I’m guessing 8,000 at the absolute most. A more conservative figure would be around 6,000. St.Johnstone will do well to bring 3,000 to 4,000. With the game live on the BBC, Hampden will be pretty empty.

It’s about time we went back to the old days when you played at least three replays to decide the winner. A time when the majority of players had second jobs working in the steelworks or down the coal mine. Footballers today, I ask you.

In the short time I have seen him play his touch is not too bad, it's just at the moment, in McCall's eyes there are others ahead of him when it comes to team selection. Even as a lone striker, he would have had to have scored today to prevent the inevitable at the end of the season. Unfortunately for Esteban, it's been the wrong team at the wrong time. McCall will use his wages to bring in another hopeful, and Gloria will move on in an attempt to get the regular start he desires. I wish the man every success, and no matter where he plays, I will certainly watch with interest on the number of goals he may or may not score. As for me playing as a lone target man, even Craigan would be a better option!

Tough, tough game next Saturday. On their day both Motherwell or St.Johnstone have enough quality to make it through to the final. I’m hoping the same strength that got us a top six place will be enough to beat Stuart Cosgrove’s beloved team.

I know he’s not had much of a run out in the first team but I’m afraid today probably signified that Esteban’s time at the Well has all but gone. Forgetting the comedy value, Is there anyone on here who thinks we should keep him for next season? or, will Craig Brown swoop for him in the summer?
