  1. Agreed, let him go now and start advertising for a new manager who will sign a fecking contract.
  2. If he takes the Aberdeen job, I hope his next shite is a hedgehog!
  3. I think with any future manager it would be nice to have a bit of stability. Despite it probably not being worth the paper it’s written on, a proper legally binding contract would be nice. At least we would be entitled to some compensation if they leave while still employed by us. That said, the days of managers/players honouring contracts have long gone.
  4. If things don’t change the new song just might be... Craig Brown, your a wanker, your a wanker!
  5. These quotes could come back to haunt Craig Brown.
  6. This is Motherwell we are talking about!
  7. While I agree Collins would make a good manager, I would probably go for Jimmy Calderwood(stain)who has a proven record in the Scottish game. (And would be up for any game against the Sheep!)
  8. Looks like another statement will be required from Motherwell to confirm or deny this new approach from Aberdeen. But at the end of the day they have no contract with Motherwell and can leave when ever they like. I did find it funny that the article was partly written by a Mr Gannon (By Michael Gannon and Dave Edwards).
  9. I think the main difference is that Brown and Knox informed Motherwell of the meeting. I’m not sure if Gannon and McGhee did likewise. Can anyone confirm if Motherwell knew of Gannon and McGhees meetings with other clubs?
  10. Scoring in the last minute in any game is brilliant. Scoring in the last minute against the Old Firm is even better. I particularly like the celebrations after the winning goal. Get it right up ye!!!
  11. We’ve had mixed results against the Jambos during the December months. I certainly hope there is no repeat of the 3-1 defeat we had on the 14th Dec 1974 (Nice white away kit!). We also lost 2-1 on the 12th Dec 1970. Not all bad as we did thump them 3-0 at Fir Park on the 12th Dec 1959. Fingers crossed for December the 14th 2010!
  12. Fair point Fatcalf, the whole excercise is costing clubs money they can ill afford. The ironic thing is, if the Hearts game was called off due to a frozen pitch, they would fine us. I’m not sure what the answer is, as clubs are dammed if they do and dammed if they don’t. At a time when clubs can ill afford to waste money they are effectively gambling that the powers that be (Police, council’s) will say the roads/car parks are safe for a game to go ahead.
  13. Game off. According to tonights sports news, Dundee United don’t seem that hopeful about the chances of this game going ahead.
  14. I’m sure Roger is younger than Craig Brown. Maybe a second stint in the Fir Park hot seat is in order, as he never fulfilled his potential first time round.
  15. This... Could easily read like this... Catholic priests are to be given anti-child abuse classes set up by the SPL. Victims of child abuse - including ex footballers - will visit chapels to educate priests and staff. This is all complete nonsense, just who are the Catholic church to tell football players how they should or should not behave. They should get their own house in order first, before they start lecturing players and staff on bigotry.
  16. ...I noticed that we got an early Christmas present in the shape of Sir Roger Hynd. Feel free to post any other past significant (or not) dates as the days and months go by.
  17. Agreed, but nothing worse than the tabloids churn out every day.
  18. I’ve already applied, if you get my DRIFT... WELL PISTE OFF! ANOTHER COLD DAY IN SP HELL! GAME ON? NOT A SNOWBALL IN SP HELL’S CHANCE! Easy money.
  19. At least the £55 fee can be split between however many are using it. When it comes to gate money your on your own.
  20. You don’t want to mess with Craig Brown as I believe he is a bit handy with his fists.
