I’ve got us down for a 2-1 win. Even this early on it’s important to pick up as many points as possible against teams like Kilmarnock. They work on a similar budget and have a similar size support to us. I tend to treat points against the Old Firm, Aberdeen, Hearts and Hibs as a bit of a bonus as they have a much larger budget and fan base to work with. The real bread and butter ties are Kilmarnock, St.Mirren, Dundee United, Hamilton, St.Johnstone and Inverness. Take points home and away from this group and you can almost gurantee top six.

I would be surprised if you experience any trouble in Motherwell unless you wonder outwith the normal fanzones. There will be plenty of Police and peaceful Motherwell fans around if you require any help. Enjoy the game!

I see we had the lowest attendance of all the SPL’s weekend fixtures. St.Mirren and Dundee United managed 5618, while us and Hibernian could only achieve 5172. I know it’s probably not any different from previous seasons, but with the good weather I thought we might have added a few more to the gate.
