The manager must see something in Vogt, as he keeps playing him. With his back ground in developing young players I would go with him on this. Willy may just need some confidence fitness and game time to show what he's got. Remember what everyone said about Bair being useless at the start with us . The players we have signed and retained are not proven yet, mostly. If they all already had high levals consistency and proven ability we wouldn't have been able to sign them. We do need work with the team to get to a higher leval.

It's a full new team ,near enough, and new manager. This will take a while, months, to get a regular settled team ,that knows how to play with the new team mates and the manager to suss out other teams in the leauge. Then change his plan if things ain't working. We do need experiance on the park to settle things SOD should start. Also a starting striker on the park is a must, that first half trying to pass it in their box too may times made it easy for Aberdeen to stiffle . We need to be more direct in the box and take shots Thor is the man for that. Attacking line yesterday was poor. Aberdeen played the game perfectly and deserved to win. But we made it simple for them.

Every game I witnessed when he was playing he was always out of position, off the ball never anticipating where the ball was going in the box and two yards short in the box ,he was truly woeful. Most of his goals were penaltys , that bad no one would buy him from us. Probably McArthur FC got Tesco vouchers to take him off our hands.

It's only a week n half off and I would think some of that the players will be resting up and recovering from knocks. I'm not expecting miracles from the manager in that space of time. Some tweeking will do fine. The main thing is we get rested.

Any thing like St Mirren would be a disaster it's the worse viewing and match day experiance In the league with St Johnstone second worst only because of a higher stand with slightly better view of the game. Fir Park has to be revamped . But history and tradition seem to take second place now with some . A new stadium will leave us with massive debt to pay off diverting money from the team budget. Better struggling to get tickets for a full Fir Park than playing in a half full new one. Supporting Motherwell most of my life for over 55years we won't be playing this type of football forever more seen it all before highs and lows . We need to keep our feet on the ground and be realistic . Revamp FP and keep the rest for a rainy day. New stadium will be a weight around our neck for decades to come.

Can I ask if there is any large project like building a new stadium, hospital , school, football ground in Scotland that has ever came in or under budget in the last 40 years. Feasibility studys usual find in favour of the general veiws of who is paying for it in the first place and can be very subjective.

Overall AP was one of the worst signings we have paid for in a long time Always in the wrong place , 2 yards short, never really looked interested at all in his time here and permanently injured. Think he wanted away after two months here.

It's Scotland, we are a wee club football club .There is global uncertainty and uncertainty in Scotland. Football is only a money maker if your a top club in European stages or English. We will need to cut our cloth to suit our financial limitations and geographical position ie 16 miles from the arse cheeks in a wee country of 4.5 million people. Most of whom are far from rich.

Cmon now. We have just finished a two month run of two games a week traveling all over Europe. In the process playing some outstanding football. Nearly a with a new team and new manager. Lost once in the league yesterday to a team with a massive budget and away from home . The team is knackerd Your concerrened ? Good grief some people are hard to please.😂 The team is doing exceptionally well and the way we are playing is so enjoyable it's unreal. We have signed well and sold well . Longello was not receiving many passes second half because he was knackered and didn't want them. Saw plenty of the ball in the first half tho.

Was it not a two team league that was proposed with total backing from the media. Where the two big teams play each other every week with each game broadcast live on tv. On a more serious note I sense a bit of a change in the type of football being played in Scotland top leauge now with the emphasis on passing etc etc which started off with us and has even spread to St Midden. Don't think it will ever spread up north to Aberdeen tho they will always be cloggers kicking teams off the park.
