  1. We have been sussed out how to stop is playing Dundee did it and hibs done it today restricted to passing backwards a lot and jt up front himself is nae use. Need to mix things up a bit more. But a point was fine think we were happy we didn't loose.
  2. Sticking with the misfiring and serial sitter missed Adams, for years tells you his philosophy on football. But he has got us to a few finals, but then his weaknes and lack of dynamic approach has caught us out with embarrassing exits. Loyalty to your players is one thing but sticking with them when they are clearly past it is another.
  3. When was the last time you were at Parkhead or Ibrox it happen all the time. Opposition red cards for fuk all.
  4. He's going to give Dons an identity ? Aye kick the opposition off the park. They have form for doing this with opposition managers. They must have been getting really scared of possible relegation. Couldnโ€™t care less about Aberdeen and St Midden deserve it.
  5. Hilarious ๐Ÿ˜‚ ๐Ÿ˜ƒ. Semi against a shite Celtic comming up, with the other semi between two smaller teams , what a chance St Midden have of doing a double this year.๐Ÿ˜ฒ Then the manager is jumping ship. Why would that buisness not get left to end of season berore any announcement. What a kick in the baws for them. Wonder how Las is taking that one.
  6. He done us a turn when he was here and if he hadn't left we wouldn't be watching the best football seen at Fir Park for 50 years. Maybe he's just not the settling reliable type and has itchy feet.
  7. And whats wrong with a fully grown man wearing a mask at the weekend ,it might be quite liberating.
  8. Dundee deserved to win. They stopped us playing, took their chances, had a goal disallowed then hit the bar. Our chances when they came were all off target and over elaborate. Can be great and lucky in every game it was comming. Still playing for third tho. Celtic are shite.
  9. Well after all that yesterday that's selling alcohol ๐Ÿธ inside the ground well and truly fukd now.Thank goodness. ๐Ÿฅด ๐ŸฅŠ๐ŸฅŠ
  10. They both deserve each other ,a polution in football. All media has connections with them both so no drama from them.
  11. He was holding on to the defender and fell no penalty
  12. Lucky escape there then. ๐Ÿ˜… My thoughts. Realistically we are a provincial community club in the top flight in a wee country of only 4.5million folk. With a fan base of 4000 - 4500 regulars, having an exceptionally good season. Up to 7000 now due to the amazing football we are playing. Which unfortunately won't last for ever. Everything needs to be based on that. Better with a 12000 seater being sold out a few times a season , but when its not still feeling pretty full with a good tight atmosphere. Than a larger one with cobwebs in it most of the time, with large spaces closed to save money on stewards ,no atmosphere no use and not really sustainable. Being a football club we need to concentrate on that, renting space for offices ,hotels other sports is not a safe and sustainable option nowadays to rely on as steady income . Getting into massive debt building a large stadium is really a no go as costs will always be more than budgeted for, always ! . Loads of other office space around as everything is going online and work from home , that's what the future seems to look like maybe not as a reliable future income as it seems. The model has to be sustainable, compact , and built around the footballing side of things. Cutting our cloth to suit what we are , a small club. Is way to go . We are a provincial club in the top flight of a wee country , sitting 16 miles away from bigot brothers in Glasgow. Ambition is all well and good but reality and finances have got to kick in at some point. Note - I can confirm I was not on the previous board.
  13. Thank goodness that never happened the new park the sports centre and the college would have been the only things there for last 20 years . Imagine going to that on a Saturday. No transport links materialised, no mini town centre as planned and still no houses. A white elephant of a site that will be lucky to be finished in the next 20 years if ever. Lets not forget all the poisonous stuff that's been buried on it over the years yet to be found.
  14. You just stick to going to the theatre and restaurants that are safe from earthquakes and tsunamis then . I will still be taking the risk and going to the football hopefully at Fir Park. Oh and pigeons will still shite on the seats in a new stand just as much as an old one.
  15. Seems simple to me . Move to a soulless new stadium like all the other horrible new stadiums built in the last 30 years . Ruining the history and wiping out the legacy of our home Fir Park. Or keep the three existing new refurbished stands ,knock down the main stand and rebuild it from scratch as a modern base for a modern club to our required specifications. We have a great playing surface and three modern sides to the stadium 75% of a good stadium already in place . Obviously a lot of disruption ,planning and organisation required for this but the best one . Nowadays history and tradition seem to go for nothing in the corporate world and the sporting world.. Surely its a matter of pride that we have been at the same site for over 100 years and worth presrving. So what if you need to park in a street n walk to the ground on match day ,its all part of the matchday tradition . Everything has got to be so new , sanitised and shinny these days . You could have a stadium in the middle of no where with a carpark right next to it costing ยฃ10 to ยฃ20 park every home game and an hour to get out of after the game ,no thanks Redevelope the Main Stand for me.
  16. Oโ€™Donnell he was every where left, right and centre forward for a bit.
  17. Good for him and his career he's at an age now he probably needs first team football or could just fade away. Our manager certainly doesn't fancy him and his dodgy fingers. Better off out on loan.

    Red Card Law

I know but the rules have to say its where u end up not how you got there .

    Red Card Law

He slipped on the pitch alright but in doing so he carried on and fouled the attacker who was in a goalscoring position so its a red. Changing rules to suit a slip will open a can of worms. Players claiming they slipped, faking stumbles, slipping and carrying on ito the attacker deliberately etc. Professional game is full of fake, injury playacting, trying to get an advantage etc. If it was other way about we would want the opposition player sent off for stopping us scoring. Keep it simple no interpretation by ref or var what caused it a foul is a foul.
  20. Think the shitty heavy wet bumpy park played a part in things last night. Definitely for first sending off and passing was difficult throughout the game. It was Gordon's sending off that done it. Forget first half . Starting second half with 10 men each we were well in it against a poor Dons team. I was confident we could beat them. Then clogger got sent off . Team kept going but 9 men were never going to win. Not sure managers from really abroad appreciate the importance of national cups, over here that includes ones in England. Moral of the story is always play your best team in a cup game.
  21. Just to add why change a winning team only Welsh had to be changed
  22. Terrible ,Terrible team selection from keeper to strikers. Nearly got caught out in last round doing same thing. It's a Diddy cup any way and he picked a Diddy team. . The league is where the real action is at.
