I wasn't, boy hasn't taken a decent chance all season, Big Sutty loves a pen. Him all day

I have still not saw the first two goals. I was talking to a few mates when the first went in, celebrated when we realised a goal was scored, turned back to finish the last wee bit of the converstation and we scored again! Ainsworth is so, so annoying, he is anonymous for ages, looks disinterested then in half an hour shows us why we get so annoyed at him. Appears t have all the talent in the world, but little drive at times. As a wide player he is gonna drift out of games at times but it is his apparent lack of effort that is upsetting. Pearo was outstanding. He did nothing fancy. But was great at what he done. him and Lasley are great in there together, I feel Las was hung out to dry a bit in the first half of the season. Left to do all the work. He is looking much better now he has someone to play beside. Marvin Johnson has the look of something special at times, he's fast, skillfull and can put in a cross. Only a great interception/tackle stopped him settnig up Erwin, who was also great yesterday. Handsome John is handsome John, does what he does and that's why we love him. Laing dealt well with a few tricky opponents, McManus was solid enough, Straker had a few moments but he was good overall, He seems to make hard work of the simple things. I had been championing Josh Law for the right back slot for months and in the last month or so he has been solid enough in there and is good on the ball. Really pleasing overall and with the way things are looking good off the park recently it's nice to see that work pay off on the park.

We really need to win about 5 matches and draw about 3 i reckon, at least!
-
I do like Lawson and his "keep it simple" sort of fitba, but he will be off in the summer and is made of chocolate. best of luck to him. but I don't see him getting used again.

out of curiosity what is TFSM?
-
I really do think it takes up chat that could be posted in the forum, also like Haggis said, I seem to miss a lot of things on it also.
-
Reid's verdict come through?
-
Bastard, I have nae hose.

I am fair looking forward to friday, I think Friday night fitba in instances like this could be great! I am working all day Saturday for example and would have missed this. A local game, the teams are just across the water. I know it's not for everyone but I think it could be ideal. Free on a Sat too (if yer not working like me), family/mates time eh?
-
I think the Shout box dilutes the chat in general. There is a lot of this discussed in there and no doubt good points are made but they are easily missed. I think the shoutbox takes away from all parts of the forum.

How specialized is the role? I think I may see if I can get it. I fancy a ride on the tractor!

From speaking to folk (Chairman, Les & 'Flow) I am sure they said there are about 1200 members, the home support has dropped according to Les to about 3100 ( I think). I have always been slightly dubious of the WS's ability to generate the funds to run the club. However I don't see any other option, It has to be tried. I don't think we will be the permanent top flight fixture we have been for the last 30 years.
-
I had noticed a "Long" playing before, was wondering if he was playing twice a week. Good to clear that up!
-
That's fair enough, just thought it had been covered by the chairman's blog before.
-
Fucked that up on my tablet sorry. but what part of Les saying a few times, "it's up to us" "its in our own hands" along with the chairman's message saying what happens if we fail, indicates anything other than les selling the club to the highest bidder no matter who? Les Hutchison has no plan b as such, essentially he is the plan b on the well society's side of things. His willingness to loan us the funds come as a second part to the well society's plan. if we fail, les walks away.

we have scored 2 goals about 4 times in the whole season. I'll take 1-0 with the ball goin in aff skippy's arse
-
I agree with it in principal, I could see a reasoning for it. Throwing him on to the park with 5 mins left while the team (often) trails is not the way to do it though!
-
I was a fan of gradually introducing this boy to the first team, but 5 mins at the end of every game is a bit shite.
-
I would still stick with Long, I am not a fan of Dan who makes a lot of howlers that seem to go unnoticed (The Aberdeen/McManus handball incident being one, he caused that with an awful attempt at catching a cross) but seems to be a hero to some, as far as I can see he had two good spells. Both around the christmas period. Maybe we need to get the wee man excited about Santa all year round. Long does look better on paper as said previously, however I heard Baraclough say he was shouting for the ball at Aberdeen's second. I dunno why cos he was miles away from it. The first is plain bad bluck(from his point of view, defending is something else.). Good save, bit of a rush to grabs the ball and pokes it into the goal. The second was awful though.

Can I also add to the previous chat, I saw all the previous messages, I check the WS website rather often. Maybe best to have an occasional swatch at it fi you don't see the emails/twitter feed/facebook posts.
