He also said John Boyle has thanked him on numerous occasions for leaving for Aberdeen as the compensation the club got helped us through a cashflow issue at that time as well, these are things we don't hear about at the time these things take place.
I believe this is the first team we have used these lamps, our groundsman regularly gets to borrow them off of Celtic I believe, he either used to work there or is good friends with their head groundsman I believe.
We haven't won at New Douglas Park since 2009 when Mark McGhee took us there to win 3v0, not overly confident we will end that hoodoo but its got to end sometime. 2v0 to well today!
As far as I was aware then if the well society couldn't afford to finance any of the loans then the club would then have to pay Les Hutchison, that to me just means the club is losing money needlessly.
Craigan is also the manager of the Northern Ireland under 19 squad so he does have a bit of management experience. The club in the past has promoted from within as its cheaper so they might look to Scott Leitch if baraclough left but he will be there next season.
I have heard its Erwins agent playing hardball more than anything, Also heard that Preston, Ipswich and Rotherham have had him watched in recent months. Perhaps its an agent filling his head with the money signs rather than what is best for his career.
Apparently a big shock was Max Currie being released, a lot of people I know that watched the under 20s felt he would have been able to make the step up to the first team.
Our under 20s defender David Ferguson has joined Alloa on loan till the end of the season and looks likely to be playing against Livingston this afternoon. Good luck to the boy.
Also noted in the managers press conference that Paul Lawson and Zaine Francis Angol have both returned to training, the only good thing is it seems the injury list is going down which can only be a good thing at this stage of the season.
I would say we need pace at Pittodrie particularly on the counter attack, Erwin does give us pace but I'd actually play Ainsworth up top with McDonald as on his day Ainsworth is capable of scoring but hasn't being showing it enough this season but maybe that might change again on Friday night. I think him and McDonald could work well together.
this link is the post match interview with the manager and Alan Burrows, he finally admits he may ditch the usual trying to pass our way through teams to being horrible to watch but able to grind out the results we badly need!
His Penalty shout at Tannadice is a stonewaller and absolutely shocking that we never got either one of them, even the pundits on sportscene said we should feel aggrieved at not getting them.
Dom Thomas only for the fact he beat like 3 men and had our first shot at goal into the side netting, took only 3 mins of the second half, I think Ainsworth is still lost in his own half somewhere, he is a shadow of what he was last season.
