    Stevie Hammell

I think that this is the biggest thing where he is concerned. Glad to see him playing well again and that the feedback about him on here has been positive for a change. Wonder how long it will last.

  3. Here we go again This was a topic about supreme optimism a stupid topic about a dream of seeing the 'Well in the Champions League but it is slowly descending into another lets slag an unworthy englishman because he has an opinion on a team he has no right to support or have an opinion about. Let him be and keep your racism to yourself Traffic............. Glory, Glory and keep posting
  4. I used to play against Braidhurst and a certain Ian Ferguson. I took great delight in booting him up and down the park whenever I caught him First scorer in the cup final beats a Scotland captain any day

    Man Utd

I thought that this was a useful exercise for both teams and as a self confessed United fan of many, many years it was a delight to witness that red shirt at Fir Parkand the man who gave me a wonderful hangover in 1999. At times I thought the game was a bit of a bore but at times some of the football we played was wonderful and nice to see some of the fringe players come out and look the part. United were poor up top but their main man was away in Italy but I thought they had a couple of good prospects for the future. The goalkeeper, Amos is a good shot stopper and the midfield pair of Eikrem (10) and Norwood (4) and I would expect to see them in the first team in the near future in a league cup tie. Our guys played well with the frenchman looking good although I hope intense crossing drills are part of his future not sure about the pole although he did get himself involved in the game. Only gripe I have is that I wish Jim O'Brien would stop critising other players for not making the correct pass or taking the option that suits him. It seems to me and this is only my opinion that he never makes a mistake but everybody else does. Stands back and awaits abuse because he criticised hero JOB

Can anyone confirm that there will be a pay at the gate?? I don't want to travel to M'well for tickets on saturday if I can pay on the day.

    Yesterdays Chants

Does that mean that to have an opinion over an incident that tars Motherwell fans as mindless bigotted morons you have to be at the game? If that was so with an average home crowd of 5,000ish these boards would be bloody silent on match days.

    Yesterdays Chants

The Dambusters theme tune has been sung at FP for years generally with words describing our dislike for some team from Edinburgh. As a decendant of a German immigrant I saw nothing wrong with that however............................................
  9. As I have said previously unless Gannon signs a left back before the close of the window Hammell will not be going anywhere................................. Unless of course, he has pissed off Jimbo and the man wants rid of

    Yesterdays Chants

Sorry but there was loads of singing about him being a peado at Llanelli.

Not at all the 'g' is silent

    Yesterdays Chants

I wasn't at the game but I think calling him a peado is a wee bit over the top although I do agree that the arrogant bastard deserves every bit of abuse he gets. Although by these chants we have given him the chance to gain the moral high ground and become a victim in some peoples eyes.

    Signing #6

That was the first thing that I noticed here's hoping he can do the same.
  14. Loads of excellent performances yesterday I thought Craigan, Hutchison and Saunders coped well with Killies ariel threat, Fornes and Coke bossed the midfield with an excellent contribution from Hateley Sutton and Murphy led the line well but I thought that the match winner was Jim O'Brien. He was involved in everything and only needed a goal to seal an excellent performance. More please
  15. Reynolds quote was in response to someone putting him in the worst category but defending Shannon. I saw Shannon play many times and I know he was a right back and I am sorry but I didn't rate him.
  16. Sorry if no one agrees with me but I think that he was terrible, maybe I just saw his bad days because if what I saw were good days and I am no boo boy
  17. I totally agree Wallace was easily the worst manager I have seen He took one of the best attacking teams I have had the pleasure to witness and decimated them We got relegated with Bobby Watson because of what that man did to us. Worst player I ever saw has to be John McStay or Rab Shannon
  18. I don't think we will get De Laet on loan until ManU have all their defenders back. He was on the bench at the weekend.

    Ticket Prices

Never thought that he could have been bumming a free ride:doh: Not me never quoted any costs for Llanelli. That's cause I was driving the wife's car which I am totally unsure of its consumption because a careful driver like me gets far more mpg than the Schumacher that I am married to Now if it had been mine diesel, it goes for miles

    Ticket Prices

At £5 a gallon and a consumption of 40 per gallon a round trip to Bolton from Lanark approx 360 miles would cost £45. Perth on the other hand approx 140 would cost £18 add additional £10 for dearer ticket and it is still cheaper than a round trip tp Bolton
  21. Now I remember. We were terrible that day
  22. Excuse me Dougie Arnott is 17 days older than me and he only turned 48 on the 5th August So less of the 50 for a couple of years please
  23. Missed the first 30 minutes as me and a mate were in the Flemington Arms getting pished never saw the h**s goals and came home convinced that we had won 2-0. Those were the days In 1985 I made sure that I was at the first home game to see the 1st Div leaue flag unfurled can't remember who we played though think I was pished again
  24. JG is quoted on the club website as saying we need a right back and another alternative up front. No mention of centre backs or left backs so for the present moment neither crags or hammell are going anywhere.
