  1. My gripe is I just thought they may have set the semi finals out a little cheaper with it being on TV (20, 25, 30). Then that way they could go 25, 30, 35 for the Final. They haven't given themselves a lot of leeway for pricing if it's a Hibs\Motherwell Final. We are talking about it coming up to an expensive time of the year for some folk as well. If we make the Finals it's another £100+ just weeks before Xmas. We have also seen clubs all through the competition agreeing to keep prices as low as possible throughout the competition to encourage folk to get along then the "Gods" decide this is the appropriate pricing. Lets be honest the £25 section is going to be where those with family members U16 are going to go, I have a son at 17,still at school, not earning anything but I am now going to be expected to pay an adult price for him instead of a concession. Whereas he was able to get into the quarter final game at the cheaper price. I get sick fed up of hearing every year how they are empty seats for these games at Hampden but those in charge don't necessarily help themselves in that respect and a lot of it is down to prices, stupid kick off times and just not giving a darn about the fans. I am disappointed but I wasn't expecting to be anything else to be honest. I just hate it when the footballing bodies get involved and get greedy. Nothing new though.... I have been to all the ones in the recent past with both my lads and the missus but hitting 3 figures for tickets, let alone the travel costs, food, drink etc is a little gutting. The thing is if this their idea of pricing for the diddy cup, what's it going to be for the Scottish Cup... I just have to consider if I can be justify spending that sort of money, twice in the space of a few weeks. Cos if I think it's only going to be for one game then it's not worth going at all Moan over.... **Knowing me, I'll go anyway.**
  2. They have gone f***g silly with the pricing there. They do realise this will be on TV. I don't think I'll be there, minimum £100 quid for 4 of us. Think not!!
  3. This is one of those times that it'd have been handy to have the story as well. Can't get on to check as website appears to be busy. From the SPFL Site. https://spfl.co.uk/news/article/betfred-cup-semi-final-ticket-prices/
  4. I thought that myself but 'Flow only tweeted about the clearance being through on Friday, so not sure how that works.
  5. I expect Aberdeen to be like a wounded animal and up their game today. So will be a completely different game on that alone. Robinson may tweak the line up slightly if there is any niggles but not one player deserves to lose their place from Thursday. Amyway, I'd settle for a point just now... hoping we get 3 though, it is a home game after all
  6. Think Hartley is a tremendous signing. I don't really think Robinson has had a bad signing in him yet, unless of course it's the young Lithuanian, I take it his International Clearance is still midway across Europe.
  7. If I could the whole team and manager deserve it, however I have went for Campbell as drive and hunger for the game set the tone for everyone around him.
  8. Simon Ramsden has signed for the mighty Whitby Town.
  9. Paul Lawson now manager at Formatine Utd. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/ive-been-kicked-out-whatsapp-11185841
  10. Think someone behind me has McHugh for 1st scorer... keeps shouting hit it!!!! when he is on the ball.
  11. Conor Grant knocked out cold on his debut for Crewe. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/evertons-conor-grant-taken-hospital-13564469 https://twitter.com/crewealexfc/status/904055748132560897
  12. That wasn't quite the way I took his comments. We spoke to him a few times and were interested but he got a firm offer from Blackpool at a time we couldn't commit. So fair do's to the guy. He's been getting paid for the last few weeks and still got his dream move......
  13. Blackpool boss Gary Bowyer says that the players in control of the jerseys at present in fine form he feels a player would be better out on loan getting game time than sitting waiting for the chance. He also feels that the transfer window should close with the start of the season but also admits there should be a loan window available after this. I can see where he is coming from on all those points, I just wonder if there's an option to pull Hartley back in January if required.
  14. Apparently will be at Rugby Park later.
  15. So it is, getting my B's mixed up...
  16. Liam Grimshaw story seems to be growing now with PNS Fans tweeting that he is on his way up here. As well as the media. Just seen a tweet suggesting Bristol Rovers have agreed a deal and Heneghan is heading down for medical and talks.
  17. Depends whether the deal is based on the sell on value is against profit or not. A club may ttake a gamble (especially if the player is a main target) and agree that profit is against the value of the next sale. If they stand to lose money then they'll negotiate harder or reject any bids and let the contract run out. So in reality £750,000 is an achievable and realistic figure....... whether it works out that way though is a different prospect.
  18. Seeing this story popping up from various sources. http://the72.co.uk/90280/sunderland-qpr-target-rejects-new-contract-push-move/ http://www.footballinsider247.com/powerhouse-wanted-rangers-rejects-contract-targets-last-gasp-transfer-sources/
  19. They gave him 0 for his footballing powers but 10/10 for his speed.
  20. Louis is in the pick of the goals for fans to vote for. http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/11010560/watch-and-vote-goals-koke-marco-asensio-franck-nouble-and-billy-knott-feature
  21. Looks like the money is starting to be splashed around between clubs in England now, suppose we may start to see if there is any real interest in Moult, Cadden and Heneghan shortly or if the papers are just making it up. On that subject, Hull have also just agreed a deal to sell Clucas to Swansea, so may free up extra funds in their chase for Johnson as well. So we may get a wee windfall that may allow us to bring someone else in without them going.
  22. My vote goes to Tait. He was pretty decent down boh sides today and took his goal well. Thought Bowman and Campbell made a big difference when they came on.
