  1. The Mariners boss says that they still don't know what is happening but they haven't given up on him going back. Mariners still hopeful of keeping McCormack
  2. I have been looking for any confirmation on McCormack signing and found that he was sent back to Villa to see a specialist for a knee injury, expected to be out for 4 to 5 weeks. On top of that Mariners say they were expecting him back for the new year game against Perth Glory. McCormack back to Villa. I haven't found anything so far to suggest that his loan to Mariners has been cancelled unless of course that can't be done until the 1st January. In fact, the Mariners have him down in their squad as being unavailable for the Perth game due to the knee injury. Mariners Squad News My main worry now are we taking on a player with an injury that could inhibit his performances\appearances for us. Especially with the injuries we currently have.
  3. Good result especially with the number of players out. Hope Tait's injury isn't too bad.
  4. See Port Vale are being linked as a possible destination for Bowman. Bowman to Port Vale
  5. Picked this up from STV https://stv.tv/sport/football/1434092-stephen-robinson-ill-disciplined-main-let-motherwell-down/?fbclid=IwAR1EyCYMvDmN8p7cFjlSSWpmOzY1eP6gNegZ4sfHMIy4dlp0iwkjNJ_rDmU Hopefully gives us some cash to bring a couple of players in.
  6. Looks like Moult pulled out the shooglie hook for Steve Bruce's jacket.
  7. Great result!!! Thoroughly deserved and well done Hartley.
  8. Hope they give him until the 1st September then we won't have too listen to how we're renewing our interest in him....
  9. A bit disappointed to see no mention of the Dressing ROom Boards that have been on sale on ebay. The ones that are still available are: Craig Tanner Elliot Frear Bigi Liam Grimshaw Trevor "The Cat" Carson Richard Tait Peter Hartley Carl McHugh Chris Cadden CHarles Dunne Liam Grimshaw (Scottish Cup) George Newall (Scottish Cup) Cedric Kipre (Scottish Cup) Richard Tait (Scottish Cup) Full list of what's available here. Remember we're still getting double your cash from Les.
  10. And then you have Ross Forbes hoping that Paul Slane will invite him to comeover if he got a device, to like Stuart Carswell liking Marc Fitzpatrick's liking of Shaun Fagan's like,
  11. Think it's more the consequence of the English transfer window shutting next Thursday instead of the end of the month, than an actual fire sale. Think with their change it was always going to affect us around the start of the season. Wonder if we're going to have to go a similar window in the future. As for Kipre, will be gutted if he leaves, thought we'd have him for another year, good luck to the lad though he deserves it.
  12. Gossip column today saying the St Mirren have dropped their interest in Humphrey as he isn't fit.

  14. Went for Trevor Carson, not only for the late save but the earlier saves that kept us in the game before we goot our first. Looks like Sammon may prove me wrong, thought it was a daft idea getting him on loan, let alone starting him tonight with Bowman, but credit where it's due, he put in a shift and got a couple of goals. Let hope his first touch improves. Cadden and McHugh are also worth a shout tonight, Carl was organising the defence and put in solid performance. Cadds done well setting up the first, would like to see him make mor runs like that... All in all, can't really fault anyone tonight but still some work needing done before the league starts.
  15. No Cadden or Main in the squad today.
  16. From facebook, it looks like they have their main sponsor. Still got space on the back for £150. So could go there......
  17. Stick me down for £20, I like the irony.
  18. Does that mean St Brendan can't moan about the grass being too long?
  19. He played in his game for Carlisle... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/34265500 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWGwapNYL-I ... saved two penalties in the shootout.
  20. Will miss the Edinburgh City game as I am away but like the Clyde game, nice local game, if the weather is right a wee stroll down via a couple of pubs.
  21. Sorry but he'd give me the fear when it comes to the big games.... if he can handle the pressure of the CL FInal, how's he gonna handle the games against the Accies????
