The Mariners boss says that they still don't know what is happening but they haven't given up on him going back. Mariners still hopeful of keeping McCormack

I have been looking for any confirmation on McCormack signing and found that he was sent back to Villa to see a specialist for a knee injury, expected to be out for 4 to 5 weeks. On top of that Mariners say they were expecting him back for the new year game against Perth Glory. McCormack back to Villa. I haven't found anything so far to suggest that his loan to Mariners has been cancelled unless of course that can't be done until the 1st January. In fact, the Mariners have him down in their squad as being unavailable for the Perth game due to the knee injury. Mariners Squad News My main worry now are we taking on a player with an injury that could inhibit his performances\appearances for us. Especially with the injuries we currently have.
