  1. Unless he accepts and St Midden offer a fee to take him now.... Not that I know anything, just putting it out there....
  2. and he hasn't played since leaving his last club in June. Could be end of season before he is fit then. Welcome to the Club
  3. Welcome Andy, was disappointed when heard his name, more because of his age and limited playing time but he's here now. Still need to be convinced a permanent deal is worth it but as always, he's in our colours so he'll get my support. Now we need a striker, some bolstering of the defence as well and I suppose we'll have to be happy. Would've loved an out and out winger but we know what SK thinks of them.
  4. That was no surprise that was coming after his comments earlier in the week. *Just noticed he was also given a 4 game suspension as well for conduct last month. It is good to see at least another club who is chewing up and spitting out managers at a faster rate than us.
  5. This from earlier in the week. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67932341
  6. New next door neighbour is a Utd fan and that's the rumour he is hearing as well.
  7. Ok, not a player.. Leanne Dempster is stepping down at Queens Park. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67901202 You know how we like to bring back ex-players are we now bringing back an ex-CEO?
  8. Even if we able to the ugly sisters would be wanting the lions share, so still wouldn't make the league anymore competitive.
  9. Oh great if SK is still in charge we'll have Obika and the Ox as Centre Backs
  10. Why is it when things aren't go well, we put 3 strikers in from the start. Alexander done, Hammell done it and now Kettlewell is at for the last couple of games. It doesn't work with the players we have, you need fucking wingers if you're going down that route, so they can help the midfield not be a bleeding hinderance. I have been happy for Kettlewell to carry on as we've been carrying a few injuries but we got most of those guys back now and still we don;t see any improvement. Its time to go....... and that may well be the first time I have said that about any manager on these boards.
  11. Thistle forum says he took a knock on his knee in training
  12. But. but.. but... what about Shankland?? Lol, I get your point though, I think it's fairly easy to see where that stopped though. If they can't play for one of the big sides in Glasgow (and I don't mean Partick) then they can't bet good enough for Scotland.
  13. A weird one this, why not do that before the window shut? Will we bring another forward in? I thought Shaw was brought in as an addition to our front line, not a replacement. Other players I would've happily seen leave ahead of Efford
  14. So do they fall under the "flaw" and "under performed" Stuart Kettlewell aims to transform flaws into success in Motherwell revamp
  15. win 5-4 on pens, not good enough, need to keep shipping players out. Anymore Indian clubs looking?
  16. Brian McLean the new manager.... Motherwell Colts?
  17. Possible big payday Curtis Main linked with Wrexham
  18. Stuart McKinstry set for release. I know he hasn't got a lot of game time since SK took charge, but I was wondering if he could play the Spittal Role in the team? Would it be worth looking to see if we could keep? Thoughts?
  19. https://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/2023/03/01/richard-foster-named-head-of-coaching/ RICHARD FOSTER NAMED HEAD OF COACHING 18:37 Richard Foster has been appointed head of coaching. Joining the club and starting immediately, Foster will oversee coaches within our academy at all youth levels. Alongside this, he will be coaching our Under 16s team and will be involved at Under 18s level. With Stuart Kettlewell’s role of lead development coach vacant, since he became first-team manager, Foster will be coaching the Under 18s until a replacement has been appointed. Foster began his career at Aberdeen where went on to make over 200 appearances for the Dons. In his time, he turned out for Rangers, Ross County, St Johnstone, Bristol City and Partick Thistle while also being selected for Scotland duty in 2012. He was assistant manager with USL Championship side Detroit City for the 2022 season before returning to Scotland earlier this month. “This is a really exciting opportunity for me at the perfect time,” Foster said. “Motherwell is renowned for developing young players that go on to have sustained careers within the game and they have some great, young talent coming through with excellent people working here. “This all makes me feel very fortunate to be given this role and I’m looking forward to getting started.”
  20. That's what I heard but Ross has pulled out
  21. and a decent save in the 1st half. Probably more saves in 1 game than |Kelly has made in the last 4 or 5..
  22. You also forgot one of those saved us from relegation through the playoffs the last time as well.......
