I still haven't seen us playing this season. Car trouble on the way to the game has meant I've had to return home.

STEAUA BUCHAREST'S controversial owner has sensationally claimed Motherwell's hammering of Flamurtari was FIXED.
Gigi Becali believes Thursday's 8-1 rout was rigged in a betting scam.
Well now face Romanian giants Steaua in the third qualifying round of the Europa League.
But Becali said: "The 8-1 result doesn't tell me anything. In fact I think there's something fishy about it. It isn't normal and I have a strong impression
it's a typical case of a fix."
Becali went on live TV in his homeland moments after the final whistle at New Broomfield to allege the scoreline was a 'blat' - a Romanian term for
a fixed football match.
He added: "It definitely sounds like a betting affair, for an exact result or for a bet with many goals or a large difference.
"Albanians are often involved in these kind of games, so it's not a big surprise.
"I know how it is with these bets, but I don't want to talk too much."
Becali - voted into the European Parliament last month - doesn't think Jim Gannon's men will find it so easy against Steaua in Thursday's first leg.
He added: "We'll respect Motherwell and it will be two tough games.
"But there is huge potential for us to have a comfortable home win."
I have been away all week and I come back to this controversy.
I can see where he's coming from we are talking about it only being lowly Motherwell with players, who lets face it couldn't score in a brothel.
Then again maybe it's just sour grapes as they won't be getting an easier team.

Yea, but surely if we play Wednesday we have a good chance of winning by more than 2. We could be 10* nil up before the game kicks off on Thursday.
*Only the striker is allowed to score and it must be from more than 6 yards away.

How strong are Flamurtari? Where did they finish in the Albanian league last season, for example ? Not that that would tell me much

I read in the Rancid that they beat Barcelona 1-0 in their last UEFA cup tie.

I won't make it as I'll be in Cruachan for a week and not finishing until at least 8pm.
We had better make the league stages otherwise I won't see us play in Europe this season.

I agree that naming people as alleged assailants is wrong and personally I'd never dream of being involved in anything like that.
Anyway, I found a big wig while I was down in Llanelli. Does anyone know the username or name of anyone who was wearing one so that I can return it?
I am sure someone can PM the owners name to you.

Sorry guys but showing the photos of the alleged assailants and naming their user id's has seen this thread tidied up. All photos and any posts relating to these have been removed.
These actions can bring legal action against the site.
We have already had one complainant stating he'll take it to the police.
Don't go naming them or showing their photos on here please.

Motherwell FC were last night forced to retract a warning that urged the club's supporters not to travel to Albania for a Europa Cup fixture.The Scottish Premier League side said it had taken the advice of the Foreign Office and Strathclyde Police in recommending fans stay away from their away tie against KS Flamurtari.
However, both organisations denied the Lanarkshire club's claims, revealing that no-one had spoken to them.
The notice, posted on Motherwell's website, also provoked angry responses from fans eager to follow their side's European adventure.
The statement read: "Fans should be aware that, in the interests of safety and security, both the Foreign Office and Strathclyde Police have advised fans not to travel to Albania at all next week. As a result, the club will not be chartering a flight and would ask fans currently considering making the journey to seriously reconsider."
However, a spokeswoman for the Foreign Office said that, although there were areas of high crime in Albania, Motherwell's concerns surrounding the former communist nation appeared to be the result of "miscommunication".
She said: "Motherwell didn't contact us. I understand someone at the club just looked at our website and took certain information. There are some areas of Albania where there are concerns, but we do not have any kind of blanket ban against travelling. I think there has been a bit of miscommunication."
A spokeswoman for Strathclyde Police said it was not aware of any such advice having been offered.
The fixture makes tough demands of Motherwell, with the club's new manager looking to bed in new players ahead of the domestic season. The first leg of the Europa League qualifying tie will be held next Thursday at Flamurtari's 9,500-seater stadium in the south-western city of Vlorë.
The Albanian Superliga side have a solid pedigree, once playing against Barcelona in the former UEFA Cup.
Last night, a spokesman for Motherwell sought to reassure fans that they were not being banned from travelling. He said: "I think we've scared a few people. What the club are doing is advising people not to travel to the game; we're not stopping anyone. There are risks involved. The club are not chartering a flight and won't be able to guide people from point A to B."
He added: "Unfortunately, we misquoted the Foreign Office's advice, but fans' safety is paramount. The statement was probably not worded in the best way, but it was done with the best of intentions."
Motherwell are expected to receive about 400 tickets for the game, but the club have yet to decide how they will allocate their share of the briefs.
"We're stuck between a rock and a hard place," the spokesman explained.
"We are advising people not to travel, but, then again, we don't want fans travelling to Albania and trying to buy tickets over there."
The Motherwell players will fly to Albania, via London, with British Airways and have reservations at an upmarket hotel in the capital, Tirana.

No keeper would have much confidence with a defence that can't deal with crosses.
The thing is it's not jst the crosses, he's had difficulty dealing with what looked like a powder puff shot from that freekick there.
